Abstract: Embodiments of the subject invention are directed to a contract monitoring system or a method for contract monitoring. In an embodiment, a contract monitoring system monitors compliance with a contract. The system receives contract terms and event messages, which describe performance of the contract terms, and presents performance information to the parties to the contract. In an embodiment, the performance information is analyzed with regard to the contract terms. In an embodiment, such performance analysis is used to generate one or more performance measures for evaluating a party to the contract. In an embodiment, such performance analysis is used to generate a settlement statement for the contract. In an embodiment, the contract monitoring system reports information regarding resources registered with the system.
