  • Patent number: 12635698
Abstract: A method including, after at least hide removal and pathogen cleaning of a beef carcass, performing two or more carcass preparation operations on the beef carcass in a carcass preparation room that is separate from other hide-off processing. The method also includes cooling the beef carcass. The beef carcass undergoes rigor mortis during cooling of the beef carcass after the two or more carcass preparation operations are performed on the beef carcass. The method additionally includes, after cooling the beef carcass, performing fabrication floor processing on the beef carcass to separate the beef carcass into primal cuts. Other embodiments are described.

  • Patent number: 12558091
Abstract: A tissue sensor is used with a surgical stapling instrument to sense tissue characteristics and to provide accurate tissue measurements. The tissue sensor includes a flexible substrate, a sensor array, and a controller. The flexible substrate is disposed between the tissue and the surgical stapler. The sensor array comprises sensors disposed on the flexible substrate, senses a parameter, and generates a signal indicative thereof in response to a clamping force that is applied by the surgical stapler to clamp the tissue and the tissue sensor together. The controller is disposed in or on the flexible substrate and is configured to receive the signal from the sensor array, process the signal to determine a measurement of the parameter based on the processed signal, and provide an indication of the measurement of the parameter to a user of the surgical stapler.

  • Patent number: 12326070
Abstract: A method of remediation includes positioning a well tool in a bore of the first wellbore tubular, the well tool having at least one shaped charge and at least one propellant body. The method further includes detonating the shaped charge to generate a jet that forms an opening in a first wellbore tubular and a tunnel at least partially in a cement body, but does not form an opening in a second wellbore tubular. The method also includes igniting the propellant body to generate a gas at a volume and pressure selected to disintegrate the cement body.

  • Publication number: 20250178473
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for linking an electric vehicle to a charging session to facilitate charge scheduling and charge optimization. In examples, a method includes receiving a charging request initiated by a proximity-based communication from a wireless identification tag, the charging request including a wireless identifier associated with the electric vehicle and derived from the wireless identification tag. The method also includes authorizing the charging request based on the wireless identifier, retrieving a unique telematics identifier corresponding to the wireless identifier, and querying a telematics system with the unique telematics identifier to obtain vehicle-specific data, where the vehicle-specific data includes a state of charge attribute for a battery associated with the electric vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20230312133
Abstract: In one embodiment a landing platform system using translating aircraft landing modules enables supported vehicles to reduce weight, costs, and complexity by use of simple undercarriage provisions other than landing gear. Additionally, such a system has the additional benefit of increasing operational efficiency by enabling inter-flight tasks to be undertaken before and after the aircraft is at the gate position—enabling a dramatic decrease in turnaround time.

  • Publication number: 20220215468
Abstract: A computer implemented lending management system and method are disclosed. A first user interface receives inputs on parameters for a loan being sought, a funding page is generated on a web server and a link to the funding page is provided for distribution to acquaintances. Acquaintances supporting the loan via the link responsive and provide identification including their relationship. Upon achieving funding for the amount of the loan, a payment system external to the lending management system is caused to create an electronic wallet for receiving funding from the lenders for provision to the user.

  • Patent number: 10992594
Abstract: A method may include, by a network resource optimization system, receiving from a network node a resource request, determining a plurality of network resources based on the resource request, and determining a subset of network resources from the plurality of network resources and a network resource from the subset based on a score of each network resource. The score of each network resource may be based on a rate of acceptance of communication requests received or a number of communication sessions established. The method may include, by the network resource optimization system, transmitting a communication request to the determined network resource and receiving an acceptance from the network resource. The method may include, by the network resource optimization system, causing a selection mechanism to be activated at the network node, receiving from the network node a selection, and initiating the communication session in response to the selection.
