Abstract: An identity card holder with a processor, a memory, an antenna, an interface for communicating with an identity card, positioning circuitry for obtaining position data of the identity card holder and communications circuitry for communicating with a remote server apparatus. The processor being configured to receive identification data from the identity card via the interface to identify a user, to cause a credential of the user associate with the identity card to be determined, to obtain position data of the identity card holder from the positioning circuitry and to cause restricted information related to a location to be provided to the user, where the restricted information has an access requirement related to the credential of the user and wherein the restricted information is provided to the user only if the user credential meets the access requirement and the position of the identity card holder is proximate the location.
