  • Publication number: 20240076117
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure relate to shipping cases, dewars, and systems for transporting a frozen material. More specifically, the embodiments described herein include and/or enable dewar lid protective systems, data logging enablement, controlled coolant escape, efficient stacking options during transport, spill protection to ensure safe and effective transport of frozen samples and materials among other things. An exemplary use for the systems described herein includes reliable shipping for frozen materials at specified environmental conditions which can be tracked and verified.

  • Patent number: 11584306
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention include an equipment rack for a vehicle, such as a vertical, tire-mount bicycle rack, that is specially adapted for heavier bicycles like e-bicycles, that is significantly more robust than prior vertical bicycle racks by using a high-powered actuator coupled with a base structure that optimizes both leverage and stability through a wide, cradling hinge plate and post member pivot axis that is located aft of the post member when the post member is in a generally vertical position.

  • Publication number: 20190380301
Abstract: A mat that includes: a top surface; side panels; at least one zipper; an inside pocket; and at least one scented sheet adapted for placement within the inside pocket. The mat is preferably rectangular in shape. In one embodiment, the at least one zipper includes a first zipper at an end portion of the mat and a second zipper, which provides access to the inside pocket. The scented sheet releases a scent that is activated by body heat of a pet and provides a soothing environment for the pet while relaxing on a mat.

  • Patent number: 6599459
Abstract: A method for rotational molding uses a mold having first and second mold components defining therebetween a mold cavity. The first mold component includes a mold insert adapted to translate toward the second mold component. A spring-biased latch mechanism restrains the mold insert in the outward disposition, and a touch pad is struck to trigger the latch mechanism and urge the mold inwardly while the mold is rotating. In another aspect, the invention includes a method for rotational molding that employs the rotational mold described above. With the mold insert latched in the outward disposition, the rotational mold charged with thermoplastic material rotated biaxially and heated. After heating, while the mold assembly continues to rotate, the touch pad is struck to release the latch and cause the mold insert to move inwardly. The mold insert includes structural features that are moved more proximate to opposed mold portions.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for rotational molding provides a mold having first and second mold components defining therebetween a mold cavity. The first mold component includes a mold insert adapted to translated toward the second mold component to an inward position in the mold cavity. The first mold component includes spring assemblies for urging the mold insert inwardly, and a latch mechanism to restrain the mold insert in the outward disposition. The latch mechanism includes a touch pad which may be struck to trigger the latch mechanism and urge the mold insert inwardly into the mold cavity. In another aspect, the invention includes a method for rotational molding that employs the rotational mold described above. With the mold insert latched in the outward disposition, the rotational mold is separated and charged with thermoplastic material, closed and sealed, and placed in a furnace and rotated biaxially.

  • Patent number: 5394808
Abstract: A folding table has a unitary table top formed of molded plastic preferably having an outer shell of non-cellular plastic with a filling of light weight hardened foam. Pairs of spaced apart sockets are formed in the table top material at the underside of the table top and a cylindrical bushing is disposed in each socket. One of a pair of pivotable leg assemblies is coupled to each pair of sockets by a pair of pivot axle projections that extend into the sockets and bushings. At least one of the sockets of each pair has a depth at least equal to the combined distances that the pivot axle projections extend into the pair of sockets. This enables entry of the pair of pivot axle projections into the pair of sockets by inserting one of the projections deeply into the one socket and then partially withdrawing that projection while guiding the other projection into the other socket of the pair.
