  • Publication number: 20080008865
Abstract: A disposable anti-microbial paper towel and dispensing method includes disposing paper towel in an automatic touchless dispenser which is adapted to generate a touchless proximity signal upon nearness of a consumer, and dispensing the paper towel in response to the proximity signal. A typical invention towel has: (i) a cellulosic web characterized in that the web is substantially without crepe bars and has an unlotioned MD bending length of at least 3.5 cm; and (ii) a transferable lotion composition comprising an emollient and anti-microbial agent, the lotion composition being immobilized on the cellulosic web in a semi-solid or solid form. The transferable lotion composition is selected from lotion compositions which are transferable upon contact with water or lotion compositions which are transferable upon application of body heat.

  • Publication number: 20070237807
Abstract: A disposable paper towel with an anti-microbial lotion and is provided with a chromatic transfer indicator which undergoes a delayed, visually perceptible color change at a predetermined time after the towel is wetted. An anti-microbial lotion on the towel increases water absorbency times (WAR) to further promote lotion transfer to the skin and increase lotion transfer effectiveness.

  • Publication number: 20060054733
Abstract: A dispenser for rolled absorbent web material is disclosed. A carriage is rotatable between at least two orientations. The carriage includes a first roll holder, which holds a first roll of absorbent web material in a primary position when the carriage is in a first orientation and in a secondary position when the carriage is in a second orientation, and a second roll holder, which holds a second roll of absorbent web material in the secondary position when the carriage is in the first orientation and in the primary position when the carriage is in the second orientation. A roll sensor senses the amount of absorbent web material remaining on the roll in the primary position. A feed mechanism dispenses absorbent web material from at least one of the rolls. A transfer mechanism feeds absorbent web material from the roll in the secondary position into the feed mechanism when the absorbent web material on the roll in the primary position is nearly depleted.

  • Publication number: 20050061827
Abstract: The present invention is a new elongate single-ply paper napkin that achieves the necessary absorbency, strength, hand feel and softness for commercial use but which is less expensive than traditional napkin products. More particularly, the invention is a single-ply napkin that contains folds running only in the transverse direction of the product, i.e. perpendicular to the length of the napkin.
