  • Patent number: 10321376
Abstract: In some examples, to mitigate interference of wireless communications, an electronic device that includes a first type wireless component and a second type wireless component receives values of parameters relating to wireless communication using the first type wireless component. The electronic device determines, using a model of a relationship between the parameters relating to wireless communication using the first type wireless component and at least one handover parameter relating to wireless communication using the second type wireless component, a value of the at least one handover parameter based on the received values of the parameters relating to wireless communication using the first type wireless component. It is determined whether the electronic device should be handed over from a first access point to a second access point based on the determined value of the at least one handover parameter.

  • Patent number: 9894675
Abstract: A method and device are disclosed for transmission control based on conditions at a receiver. A condition for a received channel of a first wireless network when one or more transmitters for a second or additional wireless networks are transmitting is determined. A condition for the received channel when the transmitters of the second or additional wireless networks are not transmitting also is determined and the two conditions are compared. Depending on the comparison, transmission characteristics for the second wireless network may be modified to mitigate desensitization of the receiver due to the coexistence of transceivers for supporting multiple types of communication subsystems.

  • Patent number: 9538436
Abstract: An electronic device monitors a quality of a wireless connection between the electronic device and a first access point. Based on the monitoring and a collection of parameters relating to controlling handover between access points, a determination is made regarding whether the electronic device should be handed over to a second access point from the first access point, where the parameters differ for different combinations of the first access point and candidate destination access points for handover of the electronic device from the first access point.

  • Patent number: 9219563
Abstract: Methods and systems for addressing interference between co-existing radios of differing radio access technologies (RATs) are provided. One RAT radio send an indication to a second RAT radio when it is transmitting, but does so after determining there is an actual likelihood that the first RAT transmission will interfere with reception by the second RAT radio. Optionally, the second RAT radio makes its own determination of whether there is a likelihood of interference, and ignores the indication if it is determined interference is not likely. Alternatively, the second RAT radio sends an indication to the first RAT radio when it is receiving, only after determining there is a likelihood that first RAT transmissions will interfere with reception by the second RAT radio.

  • Patent number: 9173174
Abstract: A method is provided for reducing radio frequency interference between a first device and a second device co-located on a UE. The method comprises transmitting, by the UE, to a network element, responsive to the UE detecting IDC interference between the first device and the second device, an output power level of the first device, an amount of de-sense experienced by the second device, and information regarding a plurality of RBs on which the UE requests to perform an uplink transmission.

  • Publication number: 20120330965
Abstract: A method for storing a keyword includes: performing a first Hash function operation and a second Hash function operation on the keyword to obtain an addresses of a first Hash bucket and an address of a second Hash bucket respectively; searching for the first Hash bucket and the second Hash bucket according to the address of the first Hash bucket and the address of the second Hash bucket; when the first Hash bucket has remaining space, storing the compressed keyword of the keyword and a pointer of the keyword into the first Hash bucket; and when the first Hash bucket has no remaining space, the second Hash bucket has remaining space, and no compressed keyword in the second Hash bucket conflicts with the compressed keyword of the keyword, storing the compressed keyword of the keyword and the pointer of the keyword into the second Hash bucket.

  • Patent number: 7933885
Abstract: A search engine searches a database for key candidates having a longest matching prefix with a search key. The search engine includes first stage decoders each having a matrix of interconnected cells for identifying preliminary candidate keys in the database. The search engine also includes a second stage decoder having a matrix of interconnected cells for identifying secondary candidate keys from the preliminary candidate keys. Additionally, the search engine includes a longest candidate prefix module to determine whether one of the secondary candidate keys matches the search key. In some embodiments, the search engine includes a longest prefix match module for identifying the secondary candidate key having a longest matching prefix with the search key.
