Abstract: Slow rise foam accessories including a hair tie or fashion accessory, containing a soft foam material to add a squishy tactile feel. The hair tie or fashion accessory can be used for both holding hair up in a pony tail or bun, or worn on a user's wrist or ankle. It's an easily transportable sensory object that is soft and squishy for anxiety relief and tactile enjoyment. Embodiments of the invention may include customized slow rising, water resistant foam materials or polystyrene beads, which may be coated for easy insertion, and optionally scented. Additional embodiments include health, wellness or medical accessories including comfort blankets and eye masks are also described.
