  • Patent number: 11994474
Abstract: A method of forming a colorimetric sensor includes depositing a first material onto a substrate, providing porous sensing particles, wherein the sensing particles comprise sensing species dispersed into a porous host structure, and embedding the porous sensing particles onto a surface of the deposited first material, the first material attaching the sensing particles to the substrate with at least a portion of the sensing particles is exposed to an ambient environment.

  • Patent number: 9637273
Abstract: A package for at least one saw blade defining a post opening includes a body defining a support surface, a post, a wall, and a cover. The post extends from the support surface and is configured to extend through the post opening defined in at least one saw blade. The wall extends from the support surface at least partially around the post. The cover is configured for connection to the wall and is further configured to be positioned adjacent to a free end of the post when connected to the wall to prevent removal of the post from the post opening when the at least one saw blade is mounted on the post.

  • Patent number: 8919552
Abstract: A method of packaging a hole saw includes positioning a circular cutting edge portion of the hole saw against a surface of a base member of a hang tag assembly. The base member includes a post that extends from the surface into a hollow interior defined by the hole saw. A cap member of the hang tag assembly is positioned adjacent a mounting portion of the hole saw. The cap member includes a stem and a display card portion. The stem is advanced through a bore defined in the mounting portion and into the hollow interior of the hole saw. The post is then secured to the stem within the hollow interior of the hole saw.

  • Patent number: 5865154
Abstract: The invention is a device consisting of a control module that allows a driver to electronically activate a truck's engine brakes. The brakes are activated by use of a push-button switch installed on the truck's gearshift lever. In the first embodiment of the invention, when the button is pressed and released, the control module's electronic circuitry keeps the engine brakes engaged until the clutch or throttle is used. In the second embodiment of the invention, the brakes also can be turned off by pressing the button again. The invention eliminates the need to use a truck's standard, dashboard-mounted manual switch to activate the engine brake and allows the driver to intermittently turn the engine brakes on or off.
