Abstract: The invention relates to synergistic fungicidal and acaricidal compositions containing two or three active ingredients in a ratio of 10:1-1:10 and 20:1:1-1:10:10, selected from the group of N-alkyl(ene)-N-(0,0-disubstituted-thiophosphoryl)-N', N'-substituted glycine amide derivatives, Triforine, Carbendazim, copper-oxyquinolate, cycloheximide, Mancozeb, benzimidazole derivatives, phenyl amide derivatives F-849, Folpet, Captofol, Iprodione or S-39475.

Abstract: A fungicidal composition comprising as active ingredient a 2-(O-[substituted]alkyl)-2-thio-1,3,2-oxathiophospholane of the Formula I ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1,R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 independently from each other stand for hydrogen, C.sub.1-6 alkyl, C.sub.2-6 alkynyl andX represents halogen, hydrogen, C.sub.1-6 alkyl or mercapto. The process for the preparation of the compounds of the Formula I involves phosphorous pentasulfide, alcohols and pyridine. The compositions are wide spectrum fungicides, particularly useful in combating Sclerotinia sp., Penicillium sp., Alternaria sp., Fusarium sp., Phytophthora infestans and powdery mildew.

Abstract: The invention relates to compositions useful for prolonging the action and increasing the selectivity of herbicide compositions containing .alpha.-chloroacetamide derivatives as active ingredient as well as to highly selective herbicide compositions containing .alpha.-chloroacetamide derivatives as active ingredients and optionally an antidote wherein an animal derivative of the general formula (III) is used for achieving the prolonged action and increased selectivity. Abstract: The invention relates to new compositions for increasing the cold resistance of cultivated plants. These compositions contain as active ingredient at least one compound of the general formula (I), ##STR1## wherein n is an integer of 2 to 5 and R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each stand for hydrogen or C.sub.1-5 alkyl, or an acid addition salt thereof in an amount of 0.01 to 70% by weight, together with a conventional diluent and/or additive.The plants treated with the compositions according to the invention are more resistant to cold and frost.
