  • Patent number: 12344079
Abstract: A door structure system for a vehicle includes an inner panel, an outer panel, and an outer belt reinforcement member. The outer belt reinforcement member extends in a fore-and-aft direction of the door structure. The outer belt reinforcement member creates an overlap joint with a hem flange portion of the inner panel. The outer belt reinforcement member includes touch-down feature that extends toward the inner panel and into contact with a bearing surface of the inner panel that is stepped down relative to the hem flange portion. The overlap joint and the touch-down feature both contribute to an increased upper frame stiffness of the door structure and improve sealing performance between the door structure and the vehicle body structure.

  • Publication number: 20250200361
Abstract: The present technology provides for the learning of information relevant to a user account by a generative response engine and accessing this information when preparing personalized responses to prompts provided by the user account. A further aspect of the present technology is that the user account does not need to explicitly tell the generative response engine to remember a particular information. Instead, the present technology is configured such that the generative response engine can learn such facts, preferences, or contexts from conversational prompts provided to the chatbot without providing explicit instructions to remember the data. A further aspect of the present technology is that the user account can request that the generative response engine forget some learned facts too.

  • Publication number: 20250137798
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media for providing a pedestrian-oriented navigation app for a mobile device. Destination information is received from a pedestrian using a mobile device. The mobile device retrieves pedestrian-oriented mapping data and routing for the navigation of the pedestrian to the destination, determines a current location and direction of the pedestrian based upon GPS data and compass data retrieved from the device, and displays the current location and direction of the pedestrian along with a route for the pedestrian to the destination on the user interface of the mobile device based on the pedestrian-oriented mapping data and routing. If the mobile device detects that the pedestrian has deviated from the route, the mobile device alters the display on the user interface to alert the pedestrian to the deviation.
