  • Patent number: 11973500
Abstract: A field programmable gate array (FPGA) utilizing resistive switching memory technology is described. The FPGA can comprise a switching block interconnect having a set of signal input lines and a set of signal output lines. Respective intersections of the signal input lines and signal output lines can have two resistive switching memory cells, a current differential latch, and a switching transistor (also referred to as a pass gate transistor) arranged in a circuit. Resistance states of the resistive switching memory cells can be programmed to control an output voltage state of the current differential latch. The output voltage state is latched into the current differential latch which can drive a gate of the switching transistor to activate or deactivate the switching transistor, which in turn activates or deactivates an intersection of the FPGA.

  • Patent number: 9659642
Abstract: A detection circuit that can detect a two-terminal memory cell changing state. For example, in response to electrical stimuli, a memory cell will change state (e.g., to a highest resistance state), but existing techniques do not detect this state change until after the stimuli is completed and a subsequent sensing operation (e.g., read pulse) is performed. The detection circuit can detect the state change during application of the electrical stimuli that causes the state change.

  • Patent number: 8116167
Abstract: A compact array of transducers is employed as a downhole instrument for acoustic investigation of the surrounding rock formation. The array is operable to generate simultaneously a first acoustic beam signal at a first frequency and a second acoustic beam signal at a second frequency different than the first frequency. These two signals can be oriented through an azimuthal rotation of the array and an inclination rotation using control of the relative phases of the signals from the transmitter elements or electromechanical linkage. Due to the non-linearity of the formation, the first and the second acoustic beam signal mix into the rock formation where they combine into a collimated third signal that propagates in the formation along the same direction than the first and second signals and has a frequency equal to the difference of the first and the second acoustic signals.

  • Publication number: 20100123506
Abstract: Multistage signal amplification, including level translation, improves signal integrity, e.g., slew rate, complementary signal delay and duty cycle performance, by mirroring complementary output current in an output stage based on a signal developed in an input stage pull-up network. A multistage amplifier may comprise a first stage comprising a differential input circuit coupled, respectively, between first and second inputs and first and second nodes, wherein the first node is coupled to a first pull-up circuit controlled by the first node and the second node is coupled to a second pull-up circuit controlled by the second node; and a second stage comprising a complementary output circuit coupled, respectively, between first and second nodes and first and second outputs, wherein a current mirror sinks essentially the same current at the first output as is sourced at the second output and vice versa. The pull-up network may further comprise a cross-coupled pull-up circuit.

  • Patent number: 6798266
Abstract: A clock generator and method generates a plurality of clocks of different frequencies using a delay lock loop and a sequencer. The delay lock loop receives an input clock signal having an input clock frequency and generates a plurality of delayed clock signals each having a frequency same as the input clock frequency and a different phase delay in relation to the input clock signal. The sequencer receives the delayed clock signals and selects one the delayed clock signals at any moment according to a predetermined sequence to generate an output clock signal having an output clock frequency corresponding to the predetermined sequence. The frequency of the output clock signal is controlled by the sequence in which the delayed clock signals are by the sequencer.

  • Patent number: 5439711
Abstract: The method of the invention for co-reactive slot die extrusion coating of elongated tubular articles, such as pipes, comprises the steps of extruding a two-component thermosetting material through a slot die that is comprised of low friction material and so configured as to permit the slot die to be rapidly opened for purposes of peeling gelled material from the die by hand. The method provides for substantially increased coverage rates and the use of interchangeable and reusable slot dies. In a preferred method, the extrusion step campuses the use of a slot die comprised of two blocks comprised of an acetal resin, and the blocks are clamped together and can be quickly unclamped to permit convenient removal of gelled thermoset material.
