  • Patent number: 10612541
Abstract: The bearing assembly, consisting of a stator component (S1) and a rotor component (R1), where the rotor component is adapted for a back-and-forth oscillatory movement (P, ?P) relative to the stator component, whereby a number of cavities (301 and 302; 303 and 304) coordinated along the outer periphery of the rotor component and the inner periphery of the stator component, formed with an increasing volume (301 and 302) and a decreasing volume (303 and 304), respectively, during rotation of the rotor component in an initial direction (P) from an initial position (IP) and towards a final position (FP), while the cavities allow the volumes to decrease and increase during a rotational motion of the rotor component in a second direction (?P) in relation to the stator component (S1).

  • Patent number: 9267551
Abstract: The present invention comprises a safety mechanism (2, 3, 3a, 3b), which is related to and/or integrally formed with a safety coupling (1), wherein the safety coupling, with a related safety mechanism (3a) actuatable toward and into an initial active retaining position or toward and into a final inactive releasing position, is adapted, upon rotary motion, to allow for the transmission of torque between a first, driving coupling member (10) and a second, driven coupling member (20) and wherein said actuatable safety mechanism is adapted to be actuatable in a displacement from an initial active position, via a number of intermediate positions, to a final inactive position.

  • Patent number: 7963714
Abstract: A safety coupling apparatus which includes first and second annular coupling parts for attachment to first and second coaxial rotatable shafts. The second coupling part defines an axial chamber which has an open end facing the first coupling part, and a radially-extending recess between a collar and a flange, both extending and located radially outwardly of the axial chamber, wherein the flange is spaced from the collar. An expandable hollow body of the first coupling part axially extends through the open end and into the axial chamber. A cavity subdivides the hollow body into inner and outer cylindrical sections and can (1) be filled with, or (2) emptied of pressurized fluid to expand or contract the inner and outer sections relative to one another and cause or prevent external surfaces thereof to contact adjacent surfaces of the axial chamber and thereby prevent or enable relative rotation of the first and second coupling parts.

  • Patent number: 4093052
Abstract: A fluid actuated coupling assembly for releasably coupling together of at least two elements and preferably transmitting torque between them. An inner metal sleeve and an outer metal sleeve are secured together to define a very thin gap between them. Means are provided to pressurize that gap to cause radial expansion of the gap and the sleeves.

  • Patent number: 4007617
Abstract: Rod or wire shaped material is produced by substantial reduction of the cross-sectional area of a metal blank in each of two types of alternating, sequentially arranged rolling passes, each of one type of pass being effected by flat-rolling the blank in at least one pair of rolls having substantially smooth roll barrels, and each of the other type of pass being effected by upset-rolling the blank in at least one pair of rolls having grooves which exhibit a rounded groove bottom.
