    Abstract: Provided are methods of predicting the likelihood that a colorectal polyp in a subject will develop into colorectal cancer. Further provided are methods of increasing the likelihood of detecting colorectal cancer at an early stage, the methods including predicting the likelihood that a colorectal polyp in a subject will develop into colorectal cancer, and when there is an increased likelihood that the colorectal polyp will develop into colorectal cancer, the frequency of colonoscopies administered to the subject are increased. Further provided are kits for predicting the likelihood that a colorectal polyp in a subject will develop into colorectal cancer.
