    Abstract: A vehicle chassis with at least two fuel tanks with each of the fuel tanks having fuel level detector or sender. The level senders are engaged to an electronic controller. The individual tank draw lines from each tank come together at a control valve that has a single outlet that leads to an engine. The control valve can be open from one of the tanks at a time to the engine. An electronic controller takes the inputs from the fuel senders and compares levels between the tanks to control the valve. The system defaults or starts drawing from a primary tank and upon the level in the primary tank falling to a pre-specified amount below the level in a secondary tank, the electronic controller shifts the control valve to draw from the secondary tank or vice versa on a secondary tank level drop.

    Abstract: A mounting arrangement for a modular component such as a fuel tank on a vehicle includes sub-assembly of the fuel tank on a carrier for installation on the chassis. Alignment is provided by alignment arms extending outwardly from the chassis cooperating with mounting tabs disposed downwardly from the module. The alignment arms are members of a pair of brackets which are attached to the frame rails. The module rests on the brackets when lowered onto the chassis. Frame and module are connected by fasteners between the brackets and the mounting tabs.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a T-clip for a fitting having a T-branch, especially for T-fittings and Union fittings used in motor vehicles. The T-clip has a base with holders at opposite ends of the base and optionally an inner sidewall between the holders. Each holder has sidewalls which hold the legs of the fitting in place. The inner sidewall prevents the T-branch from over-rotation within the T-clip.

    Abstract: A dual draw and return fuel manifold with an integral mounting bracket for use on a mobile vehicle containing at least two fuel tanks such as a heavy duty truck. The invention overcomes problems associated with assembling several fittings to a bracket and reduces the opportunities for leaks to develop in a vehicle fuel system by incorporating the fittings and mounting apparatus into a one piece design. There is a manifold which contains two three way tees integrated onto a mounting bracket or body. The mounting bracket has two engagement legs for engagement to a chassis mounted component or to a vehicle drive train component. In a preferred embodiment these engagement legs will be engaged on either side of a transmission of the vehicle. The return and supply manifolds are located one on top of another on the manifold such that they may be easily connected to the high pressure tubing of the fuel system.
