Abstract: A process to optimize a person's profile information into a standardized competency profile that can then be found for and measured against any specific job position or work need is disclosed herein. The process generates an optimized competency profile for a person comprising a location attribute, an education attribute, a work experience attribute, a plurality of competency matrix attributes and a plurality of job transition attributes. The process obtains the information from various sources including social networking websites, with or without the knowledge of the person. The process is preferably performed at a competency server.

Abstract: A system and method are described for standardizing disparate personal profile information from different sources into a standardized competency based profile. The standardized competency profile enables equalized and fast candidate evaluation and selection across multiple sources for recruiting, education, training and career management purposes.

Abstract: Embodiments of methods, systems, and computer program products are provided that may facilitate selection of a job post site to which a job opening description may be posted. For example, a job post site may be selected by obtaining one or more job post site selection criterion. Multiple job post sites may then be ranked based on the selection criterion that has been obtained. Finally, the job post site may be selected based on the ranking of the multiple job post sites. Accordingly, an employer may define a job post site selection criterion that correlates with a specific type of job opening to select a job post site that may be more effective than other job post sites in recruiting employees for that specific type of job opening.

Abstract: Embodiments of methods, systems, and computer program products are provided for compiling information into information categories using an expert system. For example, multiple information categories may be defined and, for each information category, a fact table may be provided that contains facts and rules associated with the respective information category. The information to be compiled may be encoded as multiple data strings and received as a digital data stream. An inference engine is then used to process the facts, the rules, and the data strings for at least one of the fact tables to associate one or more of the data strings with at least one of the information categories. The data strings that are associated with the information categories may then be arranged in a file based on their information category associations.
