  • Patent number: 10708224
Abstract: A controlling unit retrieves information regarding system interconnect topology and assigns unique address to all connected units without the need for any prior configuration. An added unit with cascading ports will be able to use the address assignment that enables the controller to avoid address collisions between connected units. In short, the disclosure provides the system of interconnected units with a “plug and play” capability.

  • Patent number: 4142736
Abstract: A golf cart comprising a supporting chassis assembly and a wheel assembly th two, preferably foldable wheel struts connected to the chassis assembly. The chassis assembly is provided with a mounting assembly for mounting two separate golf bags in an individually detachable manner on the chassis assembly, the golf bags being each of a size suitable for accommodating half a normal set of golf clubs. The two golf bags are detachably mounted on opposite sides of a center beam member in the chassis assembly substantially in the same plane as and substantially parallel to the center beam member.

  • Patent number: 4142563
Abstract: A golf bag comprises a high, relatively narrow container with rigid walls a hard material, preferably a plastics material, for accommodating the clubs and separate storage bags, which can be detachably fastened to the outside of the container. The container has a uniform cross-section over its entire length and is closed with a bottom at its lower end, whereas the upper end is open for insertion of the shafts of the clubs. The interior of the container is preferably divided into several elongated, narrow, parallel compartments for accommodating the shaft of one club each.

  • Patent number: 3972099
Abstract: An arrangement for centering a tube includes guides on which are mounted blocks slidable towards and away from each other by a hydraulic cylinder arrangement. Each of the blocks has a frame pivoted on it to rock about an axis perpendicular to the direction of movement of the blocks, the turning movement of the frames on the blocks being limited by an adjustable set screw and a spring on opposite sides of the frame pivot. Each frame carries either two rollers turnable on spaced axes which are parallel to the length of the tube or a single roller mounted to turn on an axis perpendicular to the direction of movement of the blocks, this roller having a central portion of small diameter and end portions of greater diameter.

  • Patent number: 3960263
Abstract: A device for transporting nuclear fuel rod cladding tubes transversely along a production line has a travel surface for the tubes and a transport chain running in the direction of transport parallel to the travel surface. The chain has a plurality of two-armed levers pivotally mounted thereon and springs pulling these levers in the direction of the travel of the chain. The levers have rollers at their ends which can engage between tubes on the travel surface. The springs are of such strength that the resistance to movement of a predetermined number of tubes prevents them from rising up, so that the rollers roll underneath the tubes, but permits them to rise up when a small number of tubes is in front of them to engage the tubes and pull them along the track. This provides in effect a storage if too many tubes are found on the track at any one time.
