  • Patent number: 10357839
Abstract: A system and method for combining the effects of magnetic field waveforms, ultrasonic motion and pulsed electric field waveforms in an electrolytic cell creates a sympathetic interaction among the three waveforms that improves the electrochemical machining process. Precisely controlling the coupled effects of simultaneously applying at least two of the three waveforms to the electrochemical cell improves the metal removal rate of the process and the surface finish of the resulting piece. The coupled effects are termed a sympathetic interaction as they can be damped or amplified by modifying the phasing, frequency, orientation or amplitude of the waveforms. In an electrochemical machining process aided by an external magnetic field and periodic ultrasonic relative motion between the tool and working piece, improvements are realized by utilizing for at least two of the magnetic field waveform, electric waveform and ultrasonic waveform, a common frequency and a chosen phase lag between the two waveforms.

  • Publication number: 20160194096
Abstract: For many millennia's Earth has had an active and very effective process of controlling-limiting earth climate factors that have fostered the evolution of many varieties of life forms in both plants and animals. Earths two Polar ice fields have functioned as the controllers of earth's climate by cycling earth temperature in repetitive ice ages-periods followed by warming trends. Human activity, burning huge quantity of carbon fuels, has warmed the earth to the point now that the polar ice has significantly melted, and receded in area. Earth now is not capable of reverting to the prior state of stability. Now, press reports, scientific journals, and individuals, have published information supporting the prediction and observational fact that human controlled use of carbon containing fuels, are primarily responsible. Those carbon materials when burned in large quantity in machines created by humans have altered earth's climate. Overview Now earth's climate is critically changed and altered.

  • Publication number: 20060149574
Abstract: A method of evaluating architectural fit of business software applications employed in an enterprise. The method comprises providing a computer tool with a defined rating system for each one of a set of business technology factors and with a set of defined keys having respective key values, inputting into the computer tool data for a plurality of business components using the respective key values, ranking one or more of the set of business technology factors according to the defined rating system, and conducting an analysis to evaluate architectural fit of the business software applications based on the data inputted using the respective key values and the ranked set of business technology factors. The conducting step further comprises providing at least one business or technology objective and executing an algorithm corresponding to the one business or technology objective provided to conduct the analysis.
