Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes maintaining a video communication between two or more client devices with each client device comprising cameras and being associated with a respective video stream in the video communication, determining scene data within a field of view in a real-world environment captured by one or more of the cameras of a first client device of the two or more client devices, determining a privacy filter to apply to a first video stream associated with the first client device based on the scene data, and providing instructions to apply the privacy filter to the first video stream in the video communication.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes maintaining a video communication between client devices with each being associated with a respective video stream, which is associated with a respective match scale measured based on a height of frames of the video stream and a depth of subjects within the frames, determining a respective scaling factor and cropping for each video stream, wherein the respective scaling factor is calculated based on the match scale associated with the corresponding video stream and a target match scale determined from the match scales associated with all video streams, and wherein the respective cropping is determined based on a uniformity of positions of the subjects within the frames across all video streams, generating a merged video stream from each video stream based on the respective scaling factor and cropping, and sending instructions for presenting the merged video stream to one or more of the client devices.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes causing a robotic limb to intercouple with a handle of a knife. The knife comprising a handle at a proximal end where the handle is configured to intercouple with the robotic limb, a bade connected to the handle, and an indentation at a distal end where the indentation is configured to intercouple with a bar of the cutting surface, and where the blade is rotatable around a first axis while intercoupled with the bar. The method includes causing the indentation of the knife to be intercoupled with the bar of a cutting board. The cutting board comprising the cutting surface and the bar affixed to the cutting surface. The method includes adjusting, by the robotic limb the position of the knife along the bar to along with an object on the cutting surface and rotating the knife to cut the object.

Abstract: An extendable door handle has a first end mounted in a stationary position to a vehicle door and a second end movably coupled to the door. A control member extends between the second end of the extendable strap handle and a door mounting mechanism for moving the second end of the door handle toward the first end when the door is opened, thereby extending the extendable strap door handle outwardly away from the door in a curved fashion making the handle more accessible for closing the door.

Abstract: A roll-up storage pouch has a generally rectangular sheet of flexible material with one edge anchored to a door panel and integrally including a constant-force flat spring which in a stable state is coiled and which can be uncoiled and straightened. The rectangular flexible member thus can be rolled up and enclose items, such as an umbrella, therein for storage. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the end of the flexible pouch opposite its anchoring to the vehicle panel includes a rigid member to which a strap can be attached for controlling the roll-up storage pouch.
