Abstract: A bicycle having an assembly with a derailleur hanger is provided. The bicycle includes a frame having a chain stay member, the chain stay member having a first end adjacent a crank assembly and an opposing second end. A hub is removably coupled to the frame. A rear drop out member is coupled to the chain stay member, the drop out member having a recess, the slot having a first hole extending therethrough. A brake caliper is coupled to the chain stay member adjacent the second end. A derailleur hanger is movably coupled to the rear drop out member, the derailleur hanger having a protrusion positioned within the slot, the derailleur hanger being movable from a first position with the second hole arranged co-axial with the first hole and a second position, the hub being coupled to the drop out member when the derailleur hanger is in the first position.
