Abstract: The present invention pertains to a sulky for horse-drawn harness racing including a frame, a seat, and a pair of wheels. The frame comprises an arch, a fork assembly secured to each end of the arch, a pair of spaced-apart rails extending forwardly from the arch in a direction of travel, and a stirrup secured to each rail. Each fork assembly comprises a pair of spaced-apart legs and an axle. Each wheel is positioned between a respective pair of legs and rotatably secured to the axle. The frame may also include a support strut extending between a respective fork assembly and rail to provide additional strength to the frame.

Abstract: A utensil for infants and toddlers it includes a planar flexible handle portion and a semi-rigid utensil portion. The utensil portion includes a ridge and a handle which engages the handle portion. A mouth guard is included and is disposed at the junction of the handle and handle portion. Included among the utensils are a spoon, fork and toothbrush. A kit of utensils is, also, disclosed.

Abstract: A gripping device for horse's hooves. The novel device, in general, prevents the horse's hoof from winging in or paddling out in order that the hoof travels in a straight line, and, in addition, spreads shock evenly upon striking the contacting surface and taking pressure off the wall of the hoof. The gripping device has a flat top surface which faces towards a horse's hoof and a bottom surface opposite the top surface, the bottom surface having a raised portion for improved gripping, the device being positioned centrally with respect to the horse's hoof.

Abstract: A flexible stall gate for partitioning an animal stall has a rigid frame having a top portion and a bottom portion. The top portion has horizontal and vertical cross-members or screen in a grid pattern and an opening from the top of the gate centrally located along the frontal width to allow the animal to extend its head and neck over the gate out of the stall. A frame of the bottom portion is framed by the downward extension of vertical frame members of the top portion which define the width of the gate and extend below a horizontal member of the bottom of the top portion. The downward extension of the vertical members terminate at the bottom of the stall door frame. The open expanse of the bottom portion between the downward extension of the vertical members is covered by a flexible elastic material which absorbs the impact of animal legs and hooves striking the bottom of the door to prevent injury to the animal and damage to the gate.
