Abstract: A child car seat is adapted for use in an automobile, and includes a seat assembly and a backrest unit connected to the seat assembly and including a backrest body, a pair of safety belts, and a guide component. The backrest body has opposite front and rear surfaces, and a plurality of spaced apart pairs of belt slots. Each belt slot has opposite front and rear open ends formed respectively in the front and rear surfaces. Each safety belt has a free end portion. The guide component is coupled to the rear surface of the backrest body and covers the rear open ends of the belt slots. The free end portions of the safety belts are extended respectively through a selected one pair of the belt slots, and along a predetermined route behind the rear surface of the backrest body through guidance of the guide component.

Abstract: An improved storage system for a juvenile playyard is disclosed. The system generally includes a playyard structure for a child and a carrying case. In the folded position, the playyard structure is disposed within the carrying case. The carrying case, or bag, has several pockets which may be used for the convenient storage of other items. The pockets are easily accessible when the playyard is folded and stored within the carrying case. The carrying case may be opened into a substantially flat configuration and attached to an unfolded or open playyard with the pockets exposed to the user and remaining easily accessible. The end flaps of the carrying case are partially removable to facilitate the opening to a substantially flat configuration.

Abstract: An improved child walker with a variety of safety features is disclosed. The child walker preferably includes three rolling supports which are stable and tip resistant in a wide variety of circumstances. The child walker provides for braking when one of the rolling supports passes an edge or a ledge of the floor surface. The rolling mechanism of the child walker advantageously limits the direction of travel allowed by the child to improve safety, and can be adjusted to control the speed of the walker.

Abstract: An axle and wheel mount assembly for improving packaging efficiency and allowing easy wheel attachment and removal is disclosed. The axle and wheel assembly includes a novel axle mounting system that is adapted to hold several short axles instead of one long axle which spans the entire width of the transporter. The axle and wheel assembly also includes a novel wheel attachment system which allows wheel attachment and removal without the use of tools and prevents the wheels from accidentally disengaging from the axle.
