  • Patent number: 12235012
Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to improved HVAC devices and kits for HVAC devices that improve the sound attenuation associated with the device, particularly low-frequency noise. An example embodiment includes an improved furnace including a housing with a combustion air chamber, a heat exchanger chamber, and a circulation blower chamber, wherein the combustion air chamber comprises a burner assembly and a combustion air fan, the furnace also includes a sound attenuation layer including a first acoustic metamaterial layer coupled to the combustion air chamber and tuned to attenuate sound for a first frequency band, one or more housing openings fluidly connecting the combustion air chamber to an environment outside the housing, wherein the sound attenuation layer includes a discontinuous section that aligns with one or more of the housing openings.

  • Publication number: 20250006362
Abstract: A neural network is trained using transfer learning to analyze medical image data, including 2D, 3D, and 4D images and models. Where the target medical image data is associated with a species or problem class for which there is not sufficient labeled data available for training, the system may create enhanced training datasets by selecting labeled data from other species, and/or labeled data from different problem classes. During training and analysis, image data is chunked into portions that are small enough to obfuscate the species source, while being large enough to preserve meaningful context related to the problem class (e.g., the image portion is small enough that it cannot be determined whether it is from a human or canine, but abnormal liver tissues are still identifiable). A trained checkpoint may then be used to provide automated analysis and heat mapping of input images via a cloud platform or other application.

  • Publication number: 20240129573
Abstract: A processing system receives a user-generated media recording, and metadata associated with the user-generated feedback, from a first device. The user-generated media recording is a recording of the public end-user captured during a live media broadcast using a public-user interface on the first device. The metadata includes information linking the user-generated media recording to the live media broadcast. The system stores the user-generated media recording and the first metadata in one or more storage devices, and transmits a version of the user-generated media recording and at least a portion of the first metadata to a private-user interface on a second device. The private-user interface is configured to receive input from a private end-user selecting the version of the user-generated media recording for broadcast during the same live media broadcast during which the user-generated media recording was created.

  • Patent number: 8604326
Abstract: A sustain foot pedal for sustaining a first keyboard and a second keyboard that may have first and second switches is provided. The pedal has an actuating member that may simultaneously activate both the first and second switch. A first keyboard receives a first sustain signal upon activation of the first switch and sustains a first note upon receipt of the first sustain signal. A second keyboard receives a second sustain signal upon activation of the second switch and sustains a second note upon receipt of the second sustain signal. The keyboards are independent from one another such that the first keyboard does not send a signal to the second keyboard to control the second keyboard, and such that the second keyboard does not send a signal to the first keyboard to control the first keyboard.

  • Patent number: 8532962
Abstract: A system which may enable users to plan, design and observe various building systems in an abstract and intuitive view, such as with a map view. In this view, virtually all facility information and objects may be displayed as simple shapes (e.g., rectangles). Just by some drag-and-drop, a user may provide shapes and rearrange positions of these shapes quickly to reflect a desired space relationship. Objects (e.g., components, devices, controllers, and the like) may be placed, moved around, and associated with each other on a facility layer or floor. Further, the map view may be used together with a tree view and a list view to provide alternative design ways. Changes made in any of the views may be synchronized with the other views. Various presentations of the facility may be provided.
