  • Patent number: 12121143
Abstract: A table may include a tabletop, a frame, and a leg assembly. The leg assembly may include a support element, a translation mechanism, and a lock device. The support element may include an end structure attached to an elongated structure. The end structure may be rotatably coupled to the frame such that the support element is rotatable relative to the frame between a first position and a second position. The translation mechanism may be retained relative to the support element and the frame. The translation mechanism may be configured to translate along the support element as the support element rotates. The lock device may be configurable in an engaged arrangement in which the lock device fixes the translation mechanism to the support element and in a disengaged arrangement in which the translation mechanism is not fixed relative to the support element.

  • Publication number: 20240298801
Abstract: A folding chair may include a frame, brackets, and a seat. The chair may be assembled by connecting a first bracket to a first side of a frame and connecting a second bracket to a second side of the frame. The seat may be connected to the brackets by inserting downwardly extending portions of the seat into an upper portion of the brackets and pushing the seat downwardly towards a lower portion of the brackets. The seat may be connected to an at least substantially assembled frame, and the seat may be attached to the brackets while the frame is in a folded position.

  • Publication number: 20240156249
Abstract: A two-stage lock assembly comprising a multi-element lock tab configured for disposition in a lateral structure of a lock device. The multi-element lock tab may include a body that includes an end on which a first element and a second element are disposed. The first element may extend from the body farther than the second element to enable the first element to be introduced into a receiver prior to the second element. The multi-element lock tab may be configurable in a disengaged configuration in which the first element and the second element are not positioned in a receiver, a first engaged configuration in which the first element is positioned in the receiver and the second element is not, and a second engaged configuration in which the first and the second elements are positioned in the receiver.

  • Publication number: 20220395089
Abstract: A table may include a tabletop and a support structure sized and configured to support the tabletop above a surface. The support structure may be movable between use and collapsed positions relative to the tabletop, and a locking mechanism may lock the support structure in a fixed position relative to the tabletop. The locking mechanism may include a locking member eccentrically rotatable relative to a lower portion of the tabletop, and the locking member may be rotatable between a locked position in which the locking member engages a locking notch and an unlocked position in which the locking member is spaced part from the locking notch. The locking mechanism may a control mechanism that facilitates movement of the locking member between the locked and unlocked positions. A retaining assembly may be sized and configured to retain the control mechanism in a fixed position.

  • Publication number: 20170238698
Abstract: A large, thin, generally planar panel constructed from blow-molded plastic may include a first surface, a second surface, and a hollow interior portion disposed between the first and second surfaces. The panel may include a nominal panel thickness (PT), which may be the distance between the first surface and the second surface, and a nominal wall thickness (WT), which may be the thickness of the outer wall of the blow-molded plastic structure. A plurality of depressions may be integrally formed in the second surface and a nominal distance (D) separating adjacent depressions may be measured from an edge of one depression to an edge of the adjacent depression. The relationship between the nominal panel thickness, the nominal wall thickness, and the nominal distance between adjacent depressions is shown by the equation WT·PT·D?0.030.

  • Patent number: 9675859
Abstract: In one example, a basketball system a goal attached to a backboard assembly. A connecting structure connects the backboard assembly to a support structure. A height adjustment mechanism includes a handle assembly that is directly connected to the support structure, and the handle assembly is operable to change a height of the goal and backboard assembly. As well, a shock absorbing element is provided that includes a first portion directly connected to the handle assembly, and the shock absorbing element has a second portion directly connected to the support structure of the basketball system, and the shock absorbing element enables temporary displacement of the goal and the backboard in response to imposition of a load or force on the goal. Finally, a structure is provided that is directly connected to the handle assembly and directly connected to the connecting structure.

  • Publication number: 20150367213
Abstract: In one example, a basketball system includes a basketball goal, a support structure, a connecting structure connected to the basketball goal and the support structure, and a height adjustment mechanism. The height adjustment mechanism includes a biasing mechanism operably connected to the connecting structure and the basketball goal, and also includes a locking member. An adjustment member of the height adjustment mechanism is engaged with the locking member and is movable relative to the locking member. The adjustment member is also connected to the connecting structure so that the adjustment member and connecting structure are operable to move in unison with each other. Finally, a foot actuator of the height adjustment mechanism is connected to the adjustment member and is operable to releasably engage the locking member.
