  • Publication number: 20240073282
Abstract: Systems and methods of diagnosing a communication system within an industrial machine. The method includes receiving, from the industrial machine, communication system data of the communication system of the industrial machine and determining whether the received communication system data indicates an occurrence of a communication system issue. The method further includes determining whether the received communication system data includes one or more dismissive parameters in response to determining that the received communication system data indicates the occurrence of the communication system issue. The method also includes analyzing the received communication system data to determine whether a remote resolution to the communication system issue is available and transmitting the remote resolution to a user associated with the industrial machine in response to determining that the remote resolution to the communication system issue is available.

  • Publication number: 20230350398
Abstract: An industrial machine diagnostic system includes a communication interface in communication with a database storing diagnostic information related to one or more industrial machines, a database storing user profile information, and a user device configured to transmit a diagnostic request for a machine. A data analysis and recommendation component is in communication with the communication interface and includes one or more processors and a non-transitory computer-readable medium containing instructions. The instructions instruct the processor to process the request to extract one or more request data elements, extract one or more diagnostic data elements, extract one or more profile data elements, determine a diagnostic recommendation based on analysis of the one or more request data elements, the one or more diagnostic data elements, and the one or more profile data elements, and output one or more diagnostic recommendations to the user.

  • Publication number: 20220301360
Abstract: The system and method include obtaining fleet operating data from a fleet of machines and a machine operating data set from an individual machine. The fleet operating data includes a plurality of fleet operating data codes and fleet time data. The machine operating data includes at least one machine operating data code. A diagnostic system server is configured to establish a correlation for individual data codes and groups of data codes of the plurality of fleet data codes based and to compile one or more of the individual data codes and one or more of the groups of data codes into a plurality of diagnostic entries in a database. The diagnostic system analyzes the at least one machine operating data code to determine if an alert is associated with the at least one machine data code and provide any associated alerts to a user.

  • Patent number: 9765690
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for a diagnostic system for a machine with a combustion engine and a variable geometry turbocharger that includes a vane position sensor. The diagnostic system includes a controller configured to calculate a learned span value of the turbocharger based on the output of the vane position sensor during a diagnostic procedure and a reference vane position sensor value. A plurality of learned span values are calculated each during a different one of a plurality of diagnostic procedures performed over a period of time and a first regression analysis to predict an expected learned span value at a defined future time using the calculated learned span value and the plurality of stored learned span values. • Patent number: 7072761
Abstract: An engine shutdown system is provided that includes an engine control module (ECM) (12) having sensors (20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 34, 36) that can activate an engine shutdown sequence. A set of redundant sensors (20?, 22?, 24?, 26?, 28?, 30?, 32?, 34?, 36?) and a redundant engine control module (RECM) (14) can also activate an engine shutdown sequence independent of the ECM. Engine operating parameters are monitored by sensors to determine if one of the engine parameters deviates from an acceptable level. If the engine control determines that a parameter has exceeded a predetermined level, an engine shutdown signal may be generated by either the ECM or RECM that may cut off the fuel supply, interrupt an ignition circuit, or activate external engine shutdown devices and may also activate alarm and message panels. A redundant engine shutdown system is also provided to disable the primary engine control unit.
