  • Patent number: 6971194
Abstract: A modular excavator-backhoe control station is disclosed, the station having two control towers with joystick on their upper ends that are pivotally coupled adjacent a floor of an excavator or backhoe. They have one piece polymeric boots that cover them as well as several additional operator controls. The towers are held in fore-and-aft position by a locking fluid cylinder that is adjustable to a many fore-and-aft positions. The towers also have upper portions that are laterally pivotal.

  • Patent number: 6128900
Abstract: A system for supplying an implement with hydraulic fluid includes a first hydraulic pump generating a first flow, a second hydraulic pump generating a second flow and a valve assembly adapted to be coupled to the implement and coupled to the first and second flows. The valve assembly couples the first flow to the implement. The valve assembly also selectively adds the second flow to the first flow to provide a low flow or a high flow. The valve assembly couples the first flow to the implement via a first coupling in response to a first signal and via a second coupling in response to a second signal. The system further includes a manually operable control coupled to the valve assembly and movable between the first position which the first signal is generated, a second position in which the second signal is generated and a third position in which a third signal is generated. The system also includes a foot pedal control coupled to the manually operable control and to the valve assembly.

  • Patent number: 4775286
Abstract: An improved swingable tractor-backhoe interconnection for a tractor-mounted backhoe having a pair of vertically-spaced articulation means along the axis forming an axially-aligned void space therebetween, a preferably free-floating center yoke in the void space with two vertical rows of openings securing hydraulic hoses in two adjacent rows, and a pair of side yokes on the tractor, one for each row of hoses, positioned on opposite sides of the center plane and spaced from the axis and center plane such that the two rows of hoses are divergent between the center and side yokes.
