Abstract: A net for fishing or other purposes. The net includes a hoop frame connected to a pole by a yoke. The yoke defines sockets in which respective arms of the hoop frame and a distal end of the pole are received. Plugs in the arms of the hoop frame desirably prevent water from passing the plugs into the hoop frame. A plug in the distal end of the pole desirably prevents water from passing the plug into the pole. The yoke and plugs provide a robust connection of the hoop frame to the pole and help retain air in the hoop frame and pole for buoyancy of the net.

Abstract: Weapon accessory mount assembly, components thereof, and associated methods. A weapon accessory mount assembly mounts on first and second rails having respective first and second slots of different sizes. The assembly includes an accessory mount for attaching to an accessory and a rail mount for attaching to the first and second rails. The assembly also includes a rail slot key having a first key portion to be inserted into the first slot and a second key portion to be inserted into the second slot to inhibit longitudinal movement of the assembly along the respective first and second rails when mounted thereon.

Abstract: Wellbore synthesis techniques are disclosed suitable for use in geothermal applications. Embodiments are provided where open hole drilled wellbores are sealed while drilling in sequenced operations with utilization of phase change materials to form an impervious layer at the wellbore/formation interface in high temperature applications. The techniques may be chemical, thermal, mechanical, biological and are fully intended to irreversibly damage the formation in terms of the permeability thereof. With the permeability negated, the wellbore may be used to create a closed loop surface to surface geothermal well operable in the absence of well casing for heat transfer surfaces for maximizing thermal transfer to a circulating working fluid. Formulations for the working and drilling fluids are disclosed.

Abstract: An out-the-front knife, components thereof, and associated methods. The out-the front knife can be a double-action spring-assisted knife. The knife includes a handle and a blade. The handle includes a rear end and a front opening opposite the rear end. The blade is movable with respect to the handle between stowed and deployed positions. In the stowed position, the blade is biased rearward. The knife includes an actuator movable in a deploying direction to spring the blade forward away from the stowed position toward the deployed position.

Abstract: A shelf assembly and components thereof, for concealing items of value of an owner from a passerby. The shelf assembly forms a concealment enclosure including a door movably connected to a shelf to permit movement of the door with respect to the shelf between an open position and a closed position. In the closed position, the door hides an interior. In the open position, access to the interior is permitted. The door includes a support surface, including a plurality of openings, arranged to be in the concealed interior when the door is closed position. A plurality of pegs are sized and shaped to be received in the plurality of openings to support the pegs extending outward from the support surface to form a customized mount for holding items of value.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure relate to an optical fiber cable. The optical fiber cable includes a cable jacket having a first inner surface and a first outer surface. The first inner surface defines a central bore along a longitudinal axis of the optical fiber cable. The optical fiber cable also includes optical fibers disposed within the central bore and a buffer tube surrounding the optical fibers. The buffer tube has a second inner surface and a second outer surface. The optical fiber cable also includes an armor layer disposed between the first inner surface of the cable jacket and the second outer surface of the buffer tube and a water-blocking adhesive disposed between the armor layer and the first outer surface of the buffer tube. The water-blocking adhesive extends along the longitudinal axis of the optical fiber cable and around a circumference of the buffer tube.

A secondary aiming accessory can be selectively used in conjunction with a primary aiming accessory to provide magnification of a target. The secondary aiming accessory is movable between stowed and operational positions. Abstract: A nipper, components thereof, and associated methods. The nipper includes first and second jaws, and first and second levers connected to respective ones of the jaws. The jaws are pivotable about a pivot axis to move cutting edges of the jaws toward and away from each other. The jaws and levers have a keyed connection for conjoint pivoting of the respective jaws and levers about the pivot axis. A retainer is configured to retain the cutting edges in a closed arrangement. The nipper includes a poker for cleaning paint from an eyelet of a lure or fishing hook. The poker is movable between stowed and deployed positions with respect to a lever of the nipper.

The cutter is supported in the shroud by at least one rotational bearing. The shroud defines a case guide for receiving the case and guiding the case into engagement with a cutting head of the cutter. The shroud is rotatable with respect to the cutter about the axis of rotation. A proximal free end of the cutter is arranged with respect to the shroud to permit reception of the proximal free end in a chuck of a drill.

Abstract: An anti-cant indicator assembly, components thereof, and associated methods. The anti-cant indicator assembly indicates the orientation of a weapon with respect to vertical. The anti-cant indicator assembly includes a mount configured to mount to the weapon, a level including a vial containing a bubble and a pivot connection connecting the level to the mount. The pivot connection is configured to permit movement of the level with respect to the mount about the pivot connection between an operational position in which the bubble can be referenced by the user for indicating orientation of the weapon with respect to vertical, and a stowed position different from the operational position. The pivot connection can include a retainer configured to releasably retain the level in at least one of the operational position or the stowed position. The level can be selectively movable with respect to the mount to calibrate the anti-cant indicator.

Abstract: An inertia bullet remover and associated methods for removing a bullet from an ammunition casing. The inertia bullet remover includes a carriage for carrying the ammunition casing. The carriage is movable with respect to a base between a first position and a second position. Movement of the carriage is guided by a guide. Movement of the carriage is stopped by a stop, which causes the bullet to exit the ammunition casing via inertia.

The system can include a host-carried monitor configured to monitor data associated with the host, such as motion data, position data, temperature data, or humidity data. The system can include one or more security devices located at a premises to monitor security data at the premises, with the one or more security devices in communication with a remote server programmed to process security event signals from the one or more security devices and transmit action instructions to the one or more security devices. Security devices can include an electrical power switch, an electrical power plug, and a camera.

Abstract: An ammunition press for manufacturing or reloading ammunition cartridges. The ammunition press includes an adjustable shell holder for holding ammunition shells (sometimes called cases) of various sizes. A catch tray is provided for collecting spent primers or other debris. According to a user's preference, the ammunition press can be customized to provide an over-center actuated configuration or a non-over-center actuated configuration. A light is integrated with the press for illuminating the shell holder. Components of the press and associated methods are also disclosed.

Abstract: An evaporator blower for air conditioning system that can be installed into a ceiling between existing joists. The system has a chassis dimensioned to fit between the pair of joists forms an air flow pathway through which air may be cooled by an evaporator housed in the chassis. A mounting flange is pivotally coupled to the chassis and has an opening through which the chassis can pivot between a first position below the mounting flange, and thus the ceiling, to a second position above the flange, so that the chassis is above the ceiling and between the pair of joists. A diffuser is attached to the mounting flange and provides supply and return air grilles that are in fluid communication with the air flow pathway of the chassis.

Abstract: A shooting rest, components thereof, and associated methods. The shooting rest includes a frame, a forward firearm support connected to the frame, and a rear firearm support connected to the frame. The rear firearm support includes a stop configured to limit rearward movement of the firearm with respect to the frame when the firearm is fired. A liquid tank is supported by the frame and is configured to hold liquid to increase the effective mass of the shooting rest to reduce recoil felt by a shooter when the firearm is fired.
