  • Patent number: 11879252
Abstract: The roof scupper overflow with sensor cooperatively engages and replaces a conventional roof opening through a wall or in a corner to prevent trash from reaching and clogging the conventional roof basket and drain. Accumulating trash builds up on the screen of the roof scupper overflow causing a foam float or buoy connected to a trash tray to rise permitting water to run under the trash trap at roof level. The trash tray is retained to a base with magnets. When the water reaches a predetermined level, the foam buoy rises pulling the trash tray away from the base allowing water to flow to the conventional roof drain basket and activating a magnet switch sending a signal to overflow sensor and a control module connected to WIFI service.

  • Patent number: 11555997
Abstract: The present specification describes a method for determining the distance of an object from the tip of an endoscope during an endoscopic procedure, wherein at least one lens is configured to converge light from outside the tip onto a sensor that includes a plurality of photodiodes a portion of which are adjacent pairs of photodiodes configured to be phase detection pixels. The method includes receiving light into each adjacent pair of photodiodes, wherein said light is reflected off a surface of said object; determining a first response curve to said light for a first photodiode of said adjacent pair of photodiodes and a second response curve to said light for a second photodiode of said adjacent pair of photodiodes; identifying an intersection between the first response curve and the second response curve; and using data derived from said intersection to determine said distance to the object.

  • Publication number: 20220316214
Abstract: The roof drain overflow cover with sensor cooperatively engages and covers a conventional roof drain cap cover to prevent trash from reaching and clogging the conventional roof basket cover and drain. Accumulating trash builds up on the screen of the overflow prevention device causing a doughnut shaped buoy connected to a trash tray to rise. The trash tray is retained to a base with magnets. When the water reaches a predetermined level, the doughnut shaped buoy rises pulling the trash tray away from the base allowing water to flow to the conventional roof drain basket and activating an overflow sensor and a control module. The control module is in communication with the water flow sensor and includes an indicator which is activated when the water flow sensor detects the detachment of the trash tray from the base indicating a potential flooding situation with the roof drainage system.

  • Patent number: 11160401
Abstract: The travel mug includes a vessel with a removable, angled partition and an engageable flow restrictor. The partition separates the vessel into a fluid reservoir chamber and a fluid dispensing chamber. The fluid dispensing chamber has a direct fluid flow path out of the upper, open end of the vessel. The fluid reservoir chamber has an indirect flow path out of the upper, open end of the vessel through the fluid dispensing chamber. An engageable flow restrictor is configured to control fluid flow along the indirect fluid flow path at the partition. The flow restrictor is disengaged when the travel mug is upright and at rest and engaged when the travel mug is positioned for dispensing.

  • Patent number: 9652775
Abstract: Persons and/or business entities (inquirers), interested in acquiring a BRANDED article, or availing themselves of a BRANDED service, upon seeing IDENTIFIER 110 with BRAND 120 of authenticator 54, as carried by the article or its packaging or associated with a service, are enabled to recognize that the BRAND SOURCE of such article(s) or service is authenticatable and the article trackable. By imaging the unique encoded symbology 112, carried by IDENTIFIER 110, and transmitting the image, and/or its decode, to administrator 54 authentication of the BRAND SOURCE and tracking of the article may be accomplished. Authenticator 54, upon receipt of the image, and/or decode, of the encoded symbology 112 carried by the article or service, may query authenticator data base 58 (FIG. 1) and seek a match, from data previously stored in data base 58 for stored data corresponding to the so received decode of the specific encoded symbology carried by the article or service.
