    Abstract: An infant's bootie comprising a sole, an upper portion, including a tongue, attached to a toe region of the sole, and a back portion attached to a heel portion of the sole. The back portion is unattached to the upper portion except at the sole, thereby allowing the back portion to be folded down to a level of the sole for easy insertion of the infant's foot. The material of the bootie may be lined to provide comfortable protection to the infant, and to aid in retaining warmth.
