  • Publication number: 20200259376
Abstract: A Rotor (1) for a high speed electric motor includes a shaft (30) presenting a rotation axis (X), eight magnets (10, 11) arranged on the shaft (30) to form an armature having a circular tubular shape, an outer sleeve arranged to cover and secure the eight magnets (10, 11) on the shaft (30). Four of the eight magnets (10) are arranged to present a radial magnetization. Four others of the eight magnets (11) are arranged to present a tangential magnetization. The magnets (10, 11) are arranged on the shaft (30) so that each of the four magnets (10) arranged to present the radial magnetisation is adjacent to two of the four magnets (11) arranged to present the tangential magnetisation.

  • Patent number: 9525315
Abstract: A magnet assembly includes at least one support member, a plurality of magnets, wherein each one of the plurality of magnets is positioned relative to the at least one support member by a male-female interface. For each one of the plurality of magnets, a male portion is engaged into a female portion so that displacements during a step of attachment of each one of the plurality of magnets to the at least one support member are avoided.

Date of Patent: December 20, 2016
    Assignee: PORTESCAP SA

  • Patent number: 8847459
Abstract: An axial self-supported coil for a slotless rotating electric motor. The axial self-supported coil includes one coil body formed by winded electrical conductors, with a head at each end, the electrical conductors in the coil body being substantially coplanar with the motor rotation axis, each coil head having an axial thickness, the axial self-supported coil having a conductor filling factor, characterized in that at least one of the electrical conductors is a multi-stranded conductor, in that a deformation arrangement of the multi-stranded conductor increases the conductor filling factor and in that a bending arrangement of the multi-stranded conductor reduces the axial thickness of each coil head.
