  • Publication number: 20170242172
Abstract: A display device provided with a polarising photovoltaic module includes (a) a plurality of polarisers; (b) a plurality of pixels which emit or transmit light referred to as image light; (c) a plurality of photovoltaic active zones and a plurality of openings, two adjacent photovoltaic active zones forming an opening and said photovoltaic active zones being arranged between the pixels and the polarisers; wherein said polarisers are semi-reflective and are made up of one or more surfaces selected among planar surfaces, which are concave or convex, and have parabolic, conical, pyramidal, tetrahedral, semi-cylindrical or cylindrical-parabolic shapes, said polarisers being arranged so as to concentrate, by reflection, a first linear polarised component of the ambient light onto said photovoltaic active zones, as well as to transmit, through the polarising photovoltaic module, a second linear polarised component of the ambient light or of the image light.

  • Patent number: 9711673
Abstract: A display device comprising at least: (a) a plurality of photovoltaic active areas and a plurality of holes, two neighboring photovoltaic active areas forming an opening; (b) one or more artificial light sources; (c) a plurality of light concentrators and reflective opaque disposed between said light sources and said photovoltaic active areas. This device wherein said hubs of light are arranged so that the light emitted from artificial light sources is directed by the light concentrators through the holes.

  • Patent number: 9396970
Abstract: A method for forming, on a conductive or semiconductor substrate, nanowires based on CuSCN, including the steps of: preparing an aqueous electrolytic solution from a Cu(II) salt having a concentration lower than 120 mM, a Cu(II) complexing agent from the aminocarboxylic acid family, and a thiocyanate salt, the solution having a pH ranging between 0.1 and 3; electrochemically depositing the aqueous electrolytic solution on the substrate.
    Type: Grant
