  • Patent number: 10941061
Abstract: A therapeutic frequency imprinting device is used to determine a therapeutic frequency from a biological specimen known to cause an ailment in a patient, and subsequently imprint the therapeutic frequency into a carrier agent for treatment of the ailment. The specimen is placed into an in-well, which is electrically connected to a potentiometer. The resistance of the potentiometer is adjusted in order to modulate the magnetic vector potential component of the magnetic field radiated by a conductive coil connected between the potentiometer and an out-well in which a carrier substance is placed to be imprinted with the therapeutic frequency.

  • Publication number: 20120248704
Abstract: An seal is described for a turbine with a first sealing surface mounted on a stationary part of a turbine and a second sealing surface mounted on a rotating part of the turbine, the surfaces being structured such that in operation the thin film of a fluid medium is generated between the two surfaces reducing contact and/or leakage with at least one of the first or second sealing surface mounted such that it is subject to a retracting force which opens the seal while stationary or at slow rotation speeds of the turbine and subject to a force counteracting the retracting force at operational rotation speeds of the turbine. The surface of the sealing face may incorporate patterns straight or helical in nature to help induce the fluid into the gap and maintain the fluid film.

  • Publication number: 20050160632
Abstract: The snow shovel easily and with minimal effort, scoops up a pile of snow, pivot and wheels the contents to another location, whereupon operation of a lever releases its load. The telescoping frame and rotatable handle provides a selection of lockable positions. The front mounted scoop head is pivotally mounted to the lower end of the frame. Upon activation of a release lever, the scoop head is allowed to rotate downward, releasing its load. A wheel assembly mounted to an intermediate portion of the frame supports the shovel in an inclined position, allowing the user to concentrate on applying force in a forward direction rather than expending effort lifting the handle. Furthermore, the wheel assembly acts as a fulcrum whereby downward pressure on the handlebars of the shovel elevates the scoop for ease of transport. The wheel assembly may be rotated towards the frame when not in use.

  • Patent number: 6858352
Abstract: A mask for producing a printed circuit board is defined in which the conductor elements of the printed circuit pattern are delineated by a constant width etch band (20). This means that all conductors (3a, 3b, 9) are separated from neighboring areas of conductive material (22) by the same distance. Thus etch rates across the printed circuit pattern do not vary according to the separation of the conductors (3a, 3b, 9).

  • Patent number: 3995426
Abstract: The invention is concerned with an improved mechanical arrangement for controlling the steering and speed function of a hydrostatic control system for a ground driven vehicle. Such a control system comprises a pair of hydrostatic pumps each controlled by a rotatable arm extending from a servo valve mounted thereon along with a pair of hydrostatic motors each driven by a respective one of the pumps and a pair of ground engaging means each on respective sides of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 3939797
Abstract: A compact rotary instrument for accurately measuring small movements of a machine tool leadscrew, the instrument having one continuous decimally divided scale which indicates the measurement in either the metric or the inch system as selected by an operator. The instrument encloses a gear system which can be changed from a direct drive condition in which the rotary motion of the leadscrew drives an annular scale at a 1:1 ratio to an indirect drive condition in which the rotary motion of the leadscrew drives the scale through a gear train having two externally formed ring gears and two pinion gears carried on a stub shaft, at a 1.27:1 ratio. The selection is by means of an annular rotatable selector having two spaced marks formed thereon against which the scale can be read by an operator, the rotational positions of the selector and the spacing of the marks being such that when direct drive is selected only one mark is visible by an operator and when indirect drive is selected only the other mark is visible.
