The user manual is a single sheet of instructions describing operation of the graphical calculator.

Abstract: A method for transferring a signal between a calculator device having a USB connector and a remote device is described. The method includes: connecting the calculator device with the remote device using the USB connector; transmitting a signal from the remote device to the calculator device using the USB connector; and receiving the transmitted signal from the remote device. A calculator device having a USB connector is described. The calculator device includes a processor for executing one or more instructions, a memory connected with the processor and storing data and instructions for execution by the processor, and a USB connector connected with the processor and connectable to a remote device for transferring a signal between the calculator device and the remote device. The calculator device is responsive to a signal received over the USB connector.

The calculator further includes a processor for evaluating the user-entered expression using the means for evaluating the expression. Abstract: A system comprises a storage controller for managing transfers of data between a host and storage memory; a data mover coupled to the storage controller handling data transferred between a host and storage memory; and a buffer coupled to the data mover for storing data being transferred. The storage controller modifies operation of the storage system based on status of the data transfer. An associate method comprises transferring data between a host and storage memory via a storage system, and dynamically adjusting operation of the storage system depending on status of the data transfer.

An embodiment of a method comprises: identifying a first portion of volatile memory of a computer system that is being used to store data; identifying a second portion of the volatile memory that is not being used to store data; and in response to an input corresponding to a power-off condition of the computer system, saving the data corresponding to the first portion of the volatile memory in the non-volatile memory without saving the second portion of the volatile memory in the non-volatile memory. Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium having instructions for determining a key press from a current keyboard state at a current time is described. The system stores signals indicative of a last key press, a last key press time, and a last keyboard state. The system determines released keys and pressed keys on the keyboard at the current time based on comparison with the last keyboard state. The system determines a key press at the current time if the first determination determines a single key press and if either of: (a) a match exists between the determined key press and the last key pressed and if the elapsed time between the current time and the last key press time is larger than a preset bounce time; and (b) a match does not exist between the determined key press and the last key press.

Abstract: A storage device includes an electrically conductive storage medium and a probe having a tip that is electrically conductive. The tip is electrically contacted to the storage medium and is adapted to form a dent in the storage medium. The tip is also adapted to cooperate with the storage medium to provide a variable resistance based on whether the tip is engaged in the dent.
