Publication number: 20170015012Abstract: A device for separating containers, particularly ampoules, connected to container groups includes a separating unit and a positioning unit. The separating unit is configured to separate at least one container of a container group that is in a foremost position along an advancing direction from at least one further container in the container group located upstream of the at least one container along the advancing direction via a separating process. The separating process acts in a separating region of the separating unit in a direction crosswise to the advancing direction. The positioning unit is configured to interlockingly position the at least one further container of the container group during the separating process.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 18, 2015Publication date: January 19, 2017Applicant: Robert Bosch GmbHInventor: Cyrille Fuellemann

Patent number: 8490368Abstract: Methods are disclosed for making a band-driven package or a band-drive component for a package, and machines for performing the methods. One method comprises feeding first and second flexible webs in a feed direction, one web being fed each side of a substrate such that the webs are in mutual face-to-face disposition ahead of and behind the substrate with respect to the feed direction; joining the face-to-face webs at a first join ahead of the substrate and at a second join behind the substrate, the joins bounding web portions that together encircle the substrate between the joins; and dividing the joined web portions from the remainder of the webs such that the joined web portions together define a band that encircles the substrate, to be slid around the substrate in use of the package.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 2010Date of Patent: July 23, 2013Assignee: Duff Design LimitedInventors: Timothy Michael Wood, Adrian James David Howson, Ian Dunckley, Cyrille Fuellemann, Alfred Wipf, Daniel Kummer

Patent number: 8342315Abstract: An apparatus for conveying products to a destination has a revolving conveyor chain embodied by entraining elements revolving along a first continuous track and have a certain chain pitch. A revolving conveying device is disposed with grippers arranged at a distance therebetween on the conveying device revolving around a second continuous track. A first zone of the first and second continuous track transfers products from the first continuous track on the conveyor chain to the second continuous track via the grippers. A second zone of the second continuous track delivers products from the grippers at the destination. A third zone of the first and second continuous track returns products not needed at the destination from the grippers on the second continuous track to the conveyor chain on the first continuous track.Type: GrantFiled: April 1, 2009Date of Patent: January 1, 2013Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Cyrille Fuellemann, Daniel Schwarz

Patent number: 7581637Abstract: A feeding device for a packaging machine used to feed individual goods to a packaging station of the machine includes at least one continuously rotating conveyor which comprises at least one driver element used to drive the individual goods, which are to be guided, along a conveyor path. The inventive feeder device is embodied in such a manner that, for each conveyor, only one individual driver element can be placed in a driving position of the individual goods which are to be guided at any one time. The device reduces the feeding path of a packaging machine and also increases the position precision of the individual goods.Type: GrantFiled: February 24, 2006Date of Patent: September 1, 2009Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Harald Lenherr, Cyrille Fuellemann

Publication number: 20090126322Abstract: A system for packing products in wallet packages incorporates a main feeding line for transporting the wallet packages as cut lengths of packaging or as strip material. It also includes a feeding mechanism for feeding the products in this main feeding line, and a placing mechanism for placing the products down on the cut lengths of packaging or on the strip material. The feeding mechanism is capable of pivoting in an approximately horizontal direction, in order to release the products into the main feeding line. This allows synchronization of several products supplied via different feeders, without the main feeding speed having to be dramatically reduced. In addition, periodically fed products can also be released in this way into the continuously running main process.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 20, 2007Publication date: May 21, 2009Inventors: Cyrille Fuellemann, Daniel Schwarz
