An application requesting sensor data communicates a SceneMode to a group of one or more sensor devices and/or sensor modules via the Scene-based API. The SceneMode determines the SceneData to be captured or provided by the sensor group, which typically includes different types of sensor data related to the Scene and also further processed or analyzed data. The application receives the SceneData from the sensor group via the Scene-based API, with the SceneData organized into SceneShots which are samples of the Scene.

The flange of the plunger inserts into the flange holder, the leadscrew engages the plunger and moves the plunger in and out of the syringe.

    Abstract: A structure includes a polarization device such as a polarization splitter, a polarization combiner or a polarization splitter rotator including a waveguide having a light absorber at an end section with an at least hook shape, e.g., it can be hooked or spiral shape. The structure also includes another waveguide adjacent the stated waveguide. The hook or spiral shape acts as a light absorber that reduces undesired optical noise such as excessive light insertion loss and/or light scattering. The hook or spiral shape may also be used on supplemental waveguides used to further filter and/or refine an optical signal in one of the waveguides of the polarization device, e.g., downstream of an output section of the polarization splitter and/or rotator.

    Abstract: A high-performance electrochemically active sodium molten salt catholyte enables a dramatic reduction in molten sodium battery operating temperature from near 300° C. to less than 120° C. As an example, stable electrochemical cycling was demonstrated in a high voltage (3.65 V) sodium battery comprising a sodium iodide-gallium chloride (NaI—GaCl3) molten salt catholyte for over 8 months at 110° C. The combination of high voltage, stable cycling behavior, and practical current densities supported by a molten catholyte enables a new generation of transformative high performance, low temperature molten sodium batteries.

The control unit can accelerate of the needle one or more times in the first half cycle at spaced intervals and decrease the velocity in the reverse pattern in the second half cycle.
