  • Publication number: 20220373385
Abstract: In one aspect, a method of classifying a plurality of objects includes receiving, from a sensor mat, a pressure indication and a capacitance indication, corresponding to the plurality of objects placed on the sensor mat. The method includes determining an object location for each object from the plurality of objects from the pressure and/or capacitance indication. The method includes determining an object profile which includes an object pressure profile and an object capacitance profile for each object. The method includes determining, by one or more processors, the identity of a first object based on a correlation of the determined object profile matching with a first stored object profile from a plurality of first stored object profiles in a data store. • Publication number: 20220343597
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a mapping application that has a novel way of displaying traffic congestion along roads in the map. The mapping application in some embodiments defines a traffic congestion representation to run parallel to its corresponding road portion when the map is viewed at a particular zoom level, and defines a traffic congestion representation to be placed over its corresponding road portion when the map is viewed at another zoom level. The mapping application in some embodiments differentiates the appearance of the traffic congestion representation that signifies heavy traffic congestion from the appearance of the traffic congestion representation that signifies moderate traffic congestion. In some of these embodiments, the mapping application does not generate a traffic congestion representation for areas along a road that are not congested.

  • Publication number: 20220330902
Abstract: There is provided a method for determining a regional rupture potential (RRP) indicative of the state of local weakening of a blood vessel based on parameters that correlate with the expansion and local weakening of the vessel. The method comprises: receiving a plurality of images of the blood vessel into a multiphase stack. A geometrical model of the lumen and the outer wall of the vessel are generated and smoothed to obtain a volume mesh and surface mesh respectively. An ILT thickness distribution, a local deformation at each phase and a wall strain distribution indicative of a maximal principal strain at the outer wall are determined. Blood flow values in the lumen are obtained and a wall shear stress distribution indicative of wall shear disturbances in the lumen is calculated. The RRP is determined based on the ILT thickness distribution, the wall shear stress, and the wall strain.

  • Publication number: 20220327543
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying malicious digital wallet devices are provided. Exemplary embodiments may establish communication with a user device associated with a digital wallet application and determine a unique device identifier for the device. Risk data may then be obtained from one or more fraudulent activity databases and associated with the device identifier. The user device may then be identified as a malicious or non-malicious device based on a device score generated based on the risk data. Devices identified as malicious may then have their unique device identifier stored on a malicious device database.

  • Patent number: 11459986
Abstract: The disclosed filter element is configured for use within a housing of a filter assembly. The filter element includes an obround ring of filter media extending between an upper and lower endcaps and defines a dirty wet fuel region. The upper endcap of the filter element defines an inlet for receiving the dirty wet fuel, which flows into the dirty wet fuel region and radially outward through the filter media. The upper endcap may include an insert to define a flow chamber to distribute fuel into the dirty wet fuel region. A clean wet fuel region is defined outside the filter element and within the housing. After flowing through the inlet and the filter media clean wet fuel fills the clean wet fuel region. A water separator is disposed external to the filter media and defines a clean dry fuel region in communication with an outlet defined by the upper endcap.

  • Publication number: 20220268707
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure pertain to methods of monitoring an environment for the presence of a solvent by: (i) exposing the environment to a luminescent compound, where the relative luminescence emission intensity of the luminescent compound changes upon interaction with the solvent; and (ii) monitoring a change in the relative luminescence emission intensity of the luminescent compound, where the absence of the change indicates the absence of the solvent from the environment, and where the presence of the change indicates the presence of the solvent in the environment. The luminescent compounds include a phosphorous atom with one or more carboxyl groups, where the carboxyl groups are coordinated with one or more metallic ions (e.g., lanthanide ions and yttrium ions). The present disclosure also pertains to sensors for monitoring an environment for the presence of a solvent, where the sensors include one or more of the aforementioned luminescent compounds.
