  • Patent number: 11708908
Abstract: A gasket assembly includes a substrate, such as a portion of a body of an electrical connector. The substrate defines a mating surface to which a gasket or gasket seal is mechanically fixed. The gasket defines at least one recess or other mounting feature thereon for engaging with a complementary feature of the substrate for fixing the gasket to the substrate. According to an embodiment, the gasket defines a sealing face or sealing wall opposing and/or abutting the mating surface of the substrate, and a sidewall extending from the sealing wall and defined about a perimeter thereof. The sealing wall and sidewall define a circumferential recess configured to receive a peripheral edge of the substrate for securing the gasket to and generally over the mating surface of the substrate.

  • Patent number: 11323669
Abstract: An image projector includes an image data input, a controller, a light source, illumination optics, an imaging spatial light modulator (SLM), and imaging optics. The controller is coupled to receive the image data and is operative to determine a thermal state of the image projector. The controller also adjusts the image data depending on the thermal state of the image projector to generate thermally adjusted image data. The thermal state of facilitates adjustment of the imaging data, because the thermal state is indicative of changes in the lightfield incident on the SLM.

  • Patent number: 10279533
Abstract: A method is provided for forming at least one curved polymeric microneedle, wherein the microneedle includes a base portion and an elongated body portion terminating in a sharp tip, said elongated body portion comprising a lower portion that is 15% to 25% of the height of the microneedle, said elongated body portion being connected to said base layer. The method comprises: heating an array comprising said base layer and at least a segment of said elongated body portion; passing the heated array against a fixed member to bend the microneedles; and allowing the bent, heated array to be cooled. The heat applied to the base layer and elongated body portion is sufficient to cause the heated microneedle to be at or above the glass transition temperature of the polymer of the microneedle, but below a temperature that would cause the lower portion to bend during the passing step.

  • Patent number: 8879631
Abstract: For a frame set of a moving image sequence, a motion estimate is accessed. The motion estimate describes a change to a region of a reference frame with respect to at least one other frame. The reference frame and the other frames are displaced from each other within the frame set from over a temporal window. The regions of the two frames contain at least a portion of an image feature. The motion estimate is smoothed over the temporal window. The smoothing may facilitate aligning, at least in part, the image feature within the set of frames.
