Abstract: A video synthesis method includes obtaining materials, video synthesis policy selection information, a video template, and configuration information of the video template, where the video template includes at least one segment, and the configuration information includes scenario matching information of each segment, performing scenario analysis on the materials specified by a user to obtain scenario characteristic information, determining a video synthesis policy based on the video synthesis policy selection information, if the video synthesis policy is a fixed-length synthesis policy, performing scenario matching on each material and each segment based on the scenario characteristic information of each of the materials and the scenario matching information of each segment in the video template, selecting content obtained through scenario matching in each material, and filling the content in a corresponding segment in the video template to synthesize a video.

Abstract: An always on display (AOD) method includes: detecting, by an electronic device, a region of interest in a wallpaper set by a user, where the region of interest is located in a first position in the wallpaper; determining, by the electronic device, an AOD pattern based on the region of interest; when the electronic device is in a screen-off state, displaying the AOD pattern in a second position of a display, where the second position is preset; in response to an operation of lighting up the display by the user, moving the AOD pattern from the second position of the display to a third position of the display, where the third position is based on the first position of the region of interest in the wallpaper; and displaying, by the electronic device, the wallpaper.

Abstract: A user profile picture generation method and an electronic device includes in a process in which a user searches for a profile picture in a plurality of thumbnails displayed in a user interface, when the user selects a thumbnail, the electronic device displays an original picture corresponding to the thumbnail, and displays a crop box in the original picture, where the selection may be a tap operation on the thumbnail. The electronic device may generate a profile picture of the user based on the crop box. The crop box includes a human face region in the original picture, and a composition manner of the human face region in the crop box is the same as a composition manner of the human face region in the original picture.
