The torque reduction apparatus includes a U-shaped portion with one end attached to an attachment portion to be attached to the front side of a compound bow and a second end including a finger gripping member formed thereon, which extends along the side of a compound bow at an angle to receive outer fingers of a user when the attachment portion is attached to the front side of a compound bow and one hand of a user is gripping the compound bow and the finger gripping member simultaneously.
