  • Publication number: 20240150504
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method of preparing a polymer, which includes: adding an alkyl-substituted aromatic vinyl-based monomer and a vinyl cyanide-based monomer to a reactor and initiating polymerization; and performing polymerization while continuously adding an alkyl-substituted aromatic vinyl-based monomer and a multifunctional initiator to the reactor, wherein the continuous addition of the alkyl-substituted aromatic vinyl-based monomer and the multifunctional initiator is initiated when a polymerization conversion rate is 10 to 30%, and the continuous addition of the alkyl-substituted aromatic vinyl-based monomer and the multifunctional initiator is terminated when a polymerization conversion rate is 70 to 80%.

  • Publication number: 20220071186
Abstract: A control device for breeding insects includes a database storing a combination of environmental factors relating to the growth of a feed insect and the nutrient after feed processing. Sensors detect an environmental factor relating to a breeding farm and a growth and development state of the insect. A processing unit receives input on expected demand and shipment time of feed produced from the feed insect, calculates a growth rate of the feed insect, required from the current farm according to input expected demand and shipment time and the detected growth and development state, and reads a combination of environmental factors from the database in consideration of the detected environmental factor and the calculated growth rate. A control unit controls growth of the feed insect by adjusting a growth and development control factor corresponding to each environmental factor according to the combination of environmental factors from the processing unit.

  • Patent number: 6332524
Abstract: A shift lock device for vehicle, the device comprising: a selector lever shiftable to lots of mode set-up positions including parking, neutral and driving positions; a lock pin movable disposed at the selector lever for engaging to or disengaging from the engagement holes; and lock release means interlocking for the selector lever to be shifted from the parking position to the neutral position or from the neutral position to the parking or driving position when a brake pedal is not depressed, while moving the lock pin to release an engaged state between the lock pin and the engagement holes when the brake pedal is depressed, such that the selector lever is individually locked at the parking position or at the neutral position when the brake pedal is not depressed, and when the brake pedal is depressed, the selector lever can be shifted from the parking position to the drive position direction, or from the neutral position to the other set-up positioning direction, to thereby prevent an occurrence of sudden ac

  • Patent number: 6044336
Abstract: A signal processing method for use in echo-location systems (radar, sonar, laser radar) to obtain accurate estimates of the target reflectivity sequence in a random (non-Gaussian) noise environment, including ambient noise, reverberation, and clutter. The method derives the statistical characteristics of the random background environments and then constructs and maximizes the corresponding approximate likelihood function using iterative methods. The approximate maximum likelihood estimates are generated on the basis of an approximation of the ideal likelihood function which is maximized using computationally efficient algorithms.

  • Patent number: 6037892
Abstract: Automatic focusing of radar or sonar imaging systems, for example, synthetic aperture radar (SAR) or synthetic aperture sonar (SAS) systems, is accomplished by using high order measurements, such as the quadruple product of the range compressed signal g(x). The phase error is estimated by a recursive or non-recursive algorithm from the phase of the quadruple product. The estimated phase error is applied to the range-compressed SAR or SAS image data which is then azimuth compressed to obtain the focused image data.

  • Patent number: 5829163
Abstract: A frit-drying system for cathode ray tubes is to utilize VHF and it is to evaporate organic matters which are contained in the frit spread on the funnel by a VHF dielectric heating method that matters with dipole components are heated from the inner part of the frit by dielectric loss of VHF when the VHF is injected on the matters with dipole components. A frit-drying system for cathode ray tubes utilizing VHF includes a funnel transferring device, and a main furnace body which defines the VHF room for drying frit therein, a VHF oscillating device, and VHF induction path which inducts VHF generated from the VHF oscillating device into the main furnace body.
