    Abstract: An apparatus for moving the center of gravity of a robot, and a system and method using the apparatus are provided. The apparatus includes a weight conveyor with a conveyed weight weighing a predetermined amount and disposed within the main body of the robot. The conveyed weight is conveyed in a predetermined direction to move the center of gravity of the robot, thus allowing a non-driven caster of the robot to surmount obstacles in its path and not become stuck while the robot is moving.

The mobile system with cameras comprising a camera mounting apparatus, the camera mounting apparatus includes a camera mounting unit which cameras join, a main body mounting unit attached to a main body of the mobile system; and connecting units for connecting the camera mounting unit with the main body mounting unit at a predetermined fixed point on one plane of the camera mounting unit, the connecting unit having an elastic unit and a damping unit for isolating the cameras from the movement of the main body mounting unit. The camera suspension can prevent the pictured moving image from severely shaking. In addition, the camera mounting plane information can be output to provide the camera location information in a real time. Therefore, the mobile system can obtain available image data during moving.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a media access control (MAC) apparatus and method for guaranteeing quality-of-service in a wireless local area network (LAN). The MAC method comprises: extracting a user priority from a frame received from an upper layer and separately storing a voice frame and a general frame according to an access category (AC); independently performing backoff operations for the voice frame and the general frame; determining whether the backoff operations for the voice frame and the general frame have simultaneously ended; if the backoff operations have simultaneously ended, transmitting the voice frame having a higher priority first and performing the backoff operation for the general frame; and if the backoff operations have not simultaneously ended, transmitting a frame whose backoff operation ends.

The automatic gain control apparatus includes a power detector for calculating a mean power of the output signal of the variable gain amplifier; a gain code generator for receiving a mean power from the power detector, and generating a gain code corresponding to the received mean power; and a voltage generator for calculating a difference between the gain code and a target gain code associated with the output signal of the variable gain amplifier to detect an error code, and generating a gain control voltage for compensating for the difference between the two gain codes on the basis of the detected error code.
