Abstract: A display device, which has a bottom chassis provided with an opening formed at one side thereof and receiving light sources therein, and at least one optical member connected to the opening to enhance optical characteristics of light emitted from the light sources, includes an optical member fixing unit including integral supporters formed integrally with the bottom chassis; and separable supporters connected to the bottom chassis to prevent movement of the at least one optical member connected to the integral supporters. The display device allows the separable supporters to have a smaller size than that of a conventional middle bezel, thus reducing production costs and to easily assemble the at least one optical member to the bottom chassis.

Abstract: An LCD monitor stand having a multistage structure comprises a display unit displaying an image and having a receiving groove part formed at the lower portion of the back side thereof, a stand unit supporting said display unit and having a top stand and a bottom stand, and a hinge connector installed at both end portions of the stand unit which allows the unit to be opened and closed completely when the stand unit is rotated upward and downward, and also to be fixed and released at one step or more between complete opening and closure. Accordingly, the LCD monitor stand having this multistage structure rotates a display unit upward and downward, stopping at each step of the multistage structure and obtaining the best suited view angle. It is also possible to hang the LCD monitor on the wall when the stand unit is folded completely, and it is not necessary to separate the stand unit from the display unit for shipping.

Abstract: A flat panel display device having a reinforcing member to reinforce a connecting strength between a display unit and a hinge member. The display unit has a front case, a rear case, and a flat panel displaying an image, and is supported by a stand having a circular recess provided at a top portion thereof. The hinge member has tilting shafts, rotating brackets secured to a lower portion of an inner surface of a rear case of the display unit and pivotable about the tilting shafts as a center of rotation respectively, and a circular body fitted in the circular recess and rotated in a range of a certain predetermined angle therein. The reinforcing member is secured to the inner surface of the rear case along with the rotating brackets by fasteners such as screws.
