    Abstract: Provided are a method and system for rapidly cooling a lithium secondary battery. A conductive connector is connected to at least one of positive and negative electrode terminals of a lithium secondary battery, and the conductive connector is brought into contact with a coolant to cool battery cells. The coolant may be water or air and may flow a coolant tube formed of a synthetic resin. An end of the coolant tube is fixed to at least one of the positive and negative electrode terminals. Therefore, owing to a cooling means disposed at a side of the lithium secondary battery, the temperature of the lithium secondary battery can be prevented from increasing to a preset value due to abnormal heating, and thermal stability of the lithium secondary battery can be improved by rapid cooling.

According to an embodiment, the structure of the floating gate in a plate shape whose center is concave is improved to the spacer structure, making it possible to minimize the size of the semiconductor memory device and to improve density. Moreover, a LOCOS process can be excluded while forming the floating gate, making it possible to more efficiently fabricate the device.

    Abstract: A method for updating firmware of a plurality of nodes constituting a wireless sensor network is disclosed. The wireless sensor network includes a server, a gateway and the plurality of nodes. The firmware to be updated is transmitted from the server through the gateway to an uppermost node. The firmware is sequentially transmitted to the plurality of nodes from the uppermost node to a lowermost node using wireless communication, and the respective nodes, which have received the firmware, record the firmware in their own memory. When the recording of the firmware is completed in all the nodes, boot programs of the respective nodes are run and the firmware, stored in the memory, is recorded in program memory, the firmware recorded in the nodes are executed, and the nodes constitute a new network while communicating with the peripheral nodes thereof.
