    Abstract: A method of surface modifying a polyimide film, a method of manufacturing a flexible copper clad laminate using the same, and a flexible copper clad laminate (FCCL) having a two-layer structure manufactured thereby. The method of surface modifying a polyimide film is conducted by modifying the surface of a polyimide film through a first plasma treatment, dipping the polyimide film into a solution containing an ethyleneimine-based silane coupling agent prepared by mixing the compound of Formula 1 and the compound of Formula 2 at a molar ratio of with 0.25˜1, and then modifying the surface of the polyimide film through a second plasma treatment. The method of surface modifying a polyimide film is advantageous because it may be substituted for a conventional surface treatment processes using ion beams.

A stacked structure of an etch stop film and an interlayer insulating film is deposited over the semiconductor substrate including the bit line. The stacked structure is selectively etched using a contact mask to form a contact hole having an upper part that is wider than a lower part of the contact hole. The contact hole exposes the second landing plug. A contact plug is formed over the contact hole. The contact plug is electrically coupled to the second landing plug.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a refrigerant valve control device and a control method thereof, which adjusts eccentricity of a refrigerant valve during an operation of a refrigerator to prevent overcooling. A refrigerant valve control device of a refrigerator includes a temperature sensing part that senses temperature inside the refrigerator; a refrigerant valve that selectively opens and closes a refrigerant path; and a controlling part that controls the refrigerant valve based on temperature differences between the sensed temperature inside the refrigerator and a predetermined control temperature. In another aspect of the present invention, a control method of a refrigerant valve for a refrigerator includes determining whether refrigerant is leaked at a refrigerant valve based on temperature differences between the temperature inside the refrigerator and a predetermined control temperature; and controlling the refrigerant valve based on the result of the determination.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a metal nanoparticle whose surface is coated with a silicon oxide. The silicon oxide is obtained from a silicon compound or a derivative thereof as a precursor and has a particle diameter of a few angstroms (A). The method comprises the steps of a) mixing metal ions, a solvent and an additive required for forming metal complex ions, b) adding a silicon compound or a derivative thereof as a precursor for forming silicon oxides, to the mixture of step a) to coat the surface of the metal ions, and c) adding a reducing agent to the mixture of step b) to reduce the metal ions. If necessary, the method further comprises the step of d) lyophilizing the resulting product of step c), i.e. metal nanoparticles. Since the surface of the metal nanoparticle of the present invention is coated with a silicon oxide, the metal nanoparticle is stabilized.
