Abstract: Apparatuses and methods which provide synchronized data using visible light communication are described. In one method, a first Light Emitting Diode (LED) lighting apparatus, which has a checked Identification (ID), receives a synchronization signal from a mobile communication network. This synchronization signal is analyzed in order to synchronize the first LED lighting apparatus with at least one second LED lighting apparatus adjacent to the first LED lighting apparatus. A synchronized time slot is prepared using the synchronization signal and a period of the time slot is determined, using the checked ID of the first LED apparatus, for transmitting data of the first LED lighting apparatus to a mobile terminal.
