Abstract: The present invention relates to an organic compound used as a material for organic layers, such as an electron transporting layer, in an organic light-emitting device. By employing the organic compound in organic layers, such as an electron transporting layer, in a device, a highly efficient and long-life organic light-emitting device having significantly improved light-emitting efficiency and lifespan may be provided, and thus the organic light-emitting device can be used not only in a lighting device but also in various display devices such as flat, flexible and wearable displays.
