  • Patent number: 7098643
Abstract: A device and method for identifying each set of wire from a multiple of substantially identical sets of wires at the distributed end includes of a multiple of substantially identical resistors connected in series, metal wire holder connected to the each junctions and to the each ends and an electrically non-conducting housing with a multiple of openings for inserting wires to connect to each wire holder. The resistance between the first wire holder at one end and each successive wire holder increases in a finite step and corresponds to the markings on the housing. When all ground wires are connected to the first wire holder and each hot wire are connected the successive wire holders at the distributing end, the resistance between the ground wire and the hot wire identifies each set at the distributed end.

  • Publication number: 20010004069
Abstract: Disclosed is an electronic range including a cavity, in which cooking of food is to be conducted, a heater chamber arranged over the cavity, an axial-flow fan arranged in the heater chamber and adapted to generate a downward flow of air, and a heater arranged outside the axial-flow fan and adapted to generate heat of a high temperature. A convection plate is arranged between the axial-flow fan and the heater. The convection plate serves to control a flow of air circulating in the interior of the electronic range to effectively convect the heat generated from the heater into the cavity during an operation of the axial-flow fan causing a repeated procedure of downwardly introducing the downward flow of air into the cavity, and then upwardly moving the flow of air along a side wall of the cavity. In this electronic range, food disposed in the cavity is heated, using reflection heat generated by the convection plates and convection air generated by the axial-flow fan.

  • Patent number: 5632210
Abstract: This invention incinerates bio-active, or any solid wastes with high organic contents and a major recoverable liquid component, at an extremely high temperature with minimum added fuel, air pollution, space, time and labor. This invention removes the liquid components through a separate route from the combustion zone, maintains a very high incineration temperature for a complete oxidation of dried solid by minimizing the exhaust gas volume, excess combustion air, the exit exhaust gas temperature and the heat loss with a use of a matched pair of high-temperature ceramic heat recuperators which have very large surface area per mass.

  • Patent number: 5495057
Abstract: There is disclosed a method for the preparation of difluoromethane wherein methylene chloride is reacted with. hydrogen fluoride in liquid phase, at a temperature of about 70.degree. to 90.degree. C. under a pressure of about 11 to 12 kg/cm.sup.2.g in the presence of antimony pentachloride. It is important that the concentration of quinquevalent antimony is maintained at a level of 85% or more with the feed mole ratio of hydrogen fluoride to methylene chloride ranging from about 2.0 to 2.3.Applicable to industrial scale, the method is operated in a batch system or in a continuous system. In addition, it exhibits superior conversion rate of the materials and production yield.

  • Patent number: 5016755
Abstract: Trapezoidal sections are simultaneously heat sealed and cut from a long strip of sheet plastic folded over double or in tubular form. Cutting one long corner and inserting air opens the interior volume of the trapezoid. Crimping the long ends horizontally, with the trapezoidal plane held vertically, and heat sealing one bottom end forms a tent-shaped paint bag. The paint bags are placed in a molded tote tray and gang filled through the cut ends and a number of the cut ends heat sealed simultaneously by a bar sealer. The molded tote tray is also used to transport and display the paint bags. Each paint bag fits into a paint applicator having a tent-shaped receiving space directly contacting a paint pad with multiple holes. The paint bag is punctured and squeezed to supply paint continuously to the pad through the holes. A tubular sheet of plastic creates disposable paint bags filled through one of the bottom ends before sealing. Folded over plastic sheets create open-topped refillable paint bags.
