A plurality of shunt branches can each include BAW shunt resonators, wherein the plurality of series branches are coupled to the plurality of shunt branches to provide the BAW resonator ladder topology pass-band filter. A high-impedance shunt branch can include a plurality of high-impedance BAW shunt resonators coupled together in-series to provide an impedance for the high-impedance shunt branch that is greater the other shunt branches in the BAW resonator ladder topology pass-band filter.

Abstract: A system and method for distributing college textbooks on a college campus comprising the steps of locating unique indicia that is correlated with a unique college course. The unique college course is associated with at least one textbook having an ISB Number. Providing the located unique indicia to a first data location and extracting from the first data location the ISB Number associated with the unique indicia and utilizing the ISB Number to identify a college textbook, whereby the method and system allows a user to identify required college textbooks using only the unique indicia that is correlated with a unique college course.

Abstract: A brushless DC motor includes a rotor assembly and a stator assembly. The rotor assembly includes a plurality of rotor permanent magnets of a first polarity. The stator assembly includes a plurality of stator magnetic field assemblies facing the rotor assembly. Each stator magnetic field assembly includes a box-like magnetic core having an opening facing the rotor assembly. A permanent magnetic core is disposed within the box-like magnetic core having a surface facing the rotor assembly and possessing a second polarity at this surface. A field coil is wound in proximity to the box-like magnetic core for energizing the stator magnetic field assembly. A boosting permanent magnet is provided along an outer surface of the box-like magnetic core.

Abstract: The present application relates to the optical resolution into optical antipodes of compounds of the formula ##STR1## as well as to salts consisting of an optical isomer of a compound of the above formula and an optical isomer of 2-aminobutanol. The optically active compounds of the above formula are employed as starting materials for the production of semisynthetic antibiotics of the cephalosporin or penicillin type.
