  • Patent number: 7520318
Abstract: The present invention relates to a heat exchanger for a vehicle, in which a second radiator as a heat exchanger for cooling electronic components, such as an inverter and a motor, and a first radiator as a heat exchanger for cooling an engine are manufactured into an integral-type heat exchanger, and a reservoir tank is integrally coupled to the integral-type heat exchanger.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 11, 2007
Date of Patent: April 21, 2009
    Assignee: Halla Climate Control Corporation
    Inventor: Daebok Kwon
  • Patent number: 7490659
Abstract: The present invention relates to an integral-type heat exchanger with integrally formed heat exchange portions, in which the heat transfer between heat exchange portions is effectively intercepted, a core portion without a tank is respectively formed to improve the productivity, and the tank is used in common.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 7, 2007
Date of Patent: February 17, 2009
    Assignee: Halla Climate Control Corporation

  • Publication number: 20080202741
Abstract: The present invention relates to a battery cooling device for vehicles and a method for controlling the battery cooling device, which compactly includes battery heat exchanging means mounted on a battery to cooling the battery in a water cooling type, and a heat exchanger, air blowing means and cooling water circulating means connected with the battery heat exchanging means. Operations of the air blowing means and the cooling water circulating means are controlled in such a way as to compare battery temperature, cooling water temperature and inside air temperature of the vehicle with one another, whereby the battery cooling device can enhance efficiency of the battery by properly controlling the battery temperature, reduce power consumption and noise by properly operating the air blowing means and the cooling water circulating means, and satisfy necessary inside temperature conditions while cooling the battery using the inside air of the vehicle.
