Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure provides a functional container which provides a hermetic space therein, the functional container including: an outer wall which includes a thermal insulation layer and is formed in the form of a hexahedron to provide the hermetic space; a battery rack in which one or more battery modules are stacked and accommodated; a refrigeration unit which includes an evaporator, a compressor, and a condenser, and is provided adjacent to at least one of inner surfaces of the outer wall of the container to provide cold air into the container; and an air hole through which the cold air produced by the refrigeration unit is discharged.
