The apparatus includes a cylindrical dehydrator that is configured to remove water included in the food waste by spinning the food waste inside the housing, the cylindrical dehydrator having a communication hole that is configured to connect with the inlet port or the outlet port based on rotation of the cylindrical dehydrator. The apparatus includes an agitator that is located in the cylindrical dehydrator that is configured to rotate simultaneously with or independently of the dehydrator. The apparatus includes a dryer that is configured to dry the food waste by supplying dry air to the housing.
